Affected by the recent continuous heavy rainfall, from June 25th to 26th, nearly 30 slope collapses of different degrees and lodging of road trees occurred on many national and provincial trunk roads in Longan County, which blocked traffic and affected driving safety.

After the danger occurred, the Long An Highway Maintenance Center responded immediately and quickly arranged for the rescue team to rush to each section of the road where the incident occurred to carry out inspections and clearance and clearance work. At the collapse site of the K146+685 Longnan Avenue Railway Bridge of Provincial Highway 215 and the K1772+000 Yanjiang Road section of National Highway 324, technicians quickly carried out a comprehensive investigation of the collapse, verified and counted the damage to the highway, and quickly organized personnel and mobilized machinery to comprehensively clean up the collapsed road section under the premise of ensuring the safety of the operation. At the scene of the lodging of road trees in the Dongyi Village section of Provincial Highway 215, the rescue personnel quickly set up a safe operation area, using chain saws, shovels, brooms and other tools to clean up the lodging road trees and sediment and gravel, after the rescue personnel continued to fight, as of 19 o'clock in the afternoon of June 26, the whole highway in the jurisdiction resumed safe passage.

According to statistics, in this rescue operation, the maintenance center disposed of nearly 700 cubic meters of slope collapse and cleaned up more than 30 fallen road trees. In the next step, the maintenance center will pay close attention to the rain situation, continue to organize personnel to inspect and observe the road sections under its jurisdiction, find potential safety hazards in time and deal with them, and ensure the safety and smoothness of the road.
