This year, the planting area of Jiashi melon in Jiashi County reached 250,000 mu. In order to continue to expand this characteristic industry, Jiashi County has increased scientific and technological leadership and innovation, actively cultivated and promoted excellent varieties, cooperated with the Western Agricultural Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, established a national melon engineering technology research center, and developed and cultivated new varieties of Jiashi melon according to the needs of the international and domestic markets and consumer groups, up to now, has developed more than 40 varieties of Jiashi melon. At the same time, we will strengthen technical support, optimize the planting mode, and ensure that Jiashi melon is listed at a staggered peak throughout the year to meet market demand by adopting a variety of cultivation modes such as open field, double film, triple film and four film. On the sales side, Jiashi County combined online and offline multi-channel strategies, and adopted a variety of sales models such as order sales, bulk sales, scattered sales, and live streaming, which effectively broadened sales channels.
