You've probably seen a Cybertruck in a new livery, but you've probably never seen a Cybertruck plated in 24K real gold—
The gold-plated Cybertruck was created by Zack Nelson, creator of the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, who used a real electroplating method to plate 24K gold onto the surface of the vehicle and proved that the stainless steel Cybertruck can be plated in gold!
However, the process was not simple, as the photoelectric plating took four days and was completed by three technicians, and the entire Cybertruck was plated with 99.7% pure gold for $60,000. In order to preserve the dazzling metallic luster for a long time, Jack also hired Luxe Automotive to cover the plated panels with a transparent, self-healing Luma paint protection film.
However, the gold-plated Cybertruck is not for sale, and has already been purchased by wallet brand Ridge as part of a giveaway for future events.
