- Barcelona want Fati to leave this summer
- Fati spent last season on loan at Brighton
- Hans Flick does not want the Spaniard to be in his team
According to Daily Sport, the Catalan giants have informed Ansu Fati that he is not comfortable with new manager Hans Flick's plans and is considering selling him permanently this summer.
Last season, Barcelona loaned Fati to Brighton, who moved to the Premier League. However, the transfer turned out to be a disaster as he was injured several times on his England debut. He made 30 appearances in all competitions, playing just 1,058 minutes.
The 21-year-old reportedly had a recent conversation with Barça's sporting director Deco, who told him that Barca were planning to sell him permanently. The player currently has a contract with FC Barcelona until 2027.
Ansu Fati, a La Masia graduate, is seen at Camp Nou as Messi's successor, but in the last few years his career has started to decline. He even inherited the famous number 10 shirt after the Argentine left for Paris Saint-Germain in 2021, but over time he lost his place in the team and is now on the verge of leaving permanently.
