Suiyang County is located in the central part of Zunyi, which belongs to the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, with an average temperature of 15.1 °C and a forest coverage rate of 70%. The county is rich in karst caves, forests, rivers and lakes, alpine homestays and other summer resort tourism resources, including Asia's longest cave, national geological park - Shuanghe Cave, a national nature reserve, the only remaining primeval forest at the same latitude on the earth - broad water, a national water conservancy scenic spot - Shuangmenxia, a natural oxygen bar with negative oxygen ion content that has set a world Guinness record - red fruit trees, and a CCTV "Great Beauty China" location - Qingxi Gorge. In addition, there are a number of high-quality scenic spots such as Huishan Valley Hot Spring with good water quality, the magical and beautiful Guanyin Rock, the Ten Thousand Buddha Cave, the Mingquan Valley with the singing of birds and flowers, the Wolong Lake with the radiant lake, and the Luojiang Jiuqu with lush flowers and plants.
In the summer of this year, Suiyang County launched a series of characteristic summer tourism products based on its resource endowment. Qingxi Gorge rafting has upgraded its business format around "rafting +", creating a variety of modes such as "rafting + water park, rafting + river tracing, rafting + accommodation, rafting + food", expanding water projects such as paddle boards, kayaks, and bamboo rafts, so as to realize from "rafting" to "rafting".
Relying on the characteristic advantages of Shuanghe Cave in warm winter and cool in summer, the county focuses on improving the quality of outdoor sports in the mountains, creates a "cave cool play" summer tourism product matrix, and carries out sports tourism projects such as cave exploration, ferrata, abseiling, cave camping, wild hiking, cave orienteering, zipline, rock climbing, etc., so that tourists can feel the excitement and fun of mountain sports in the cool karst cave. At the same time, the focus is on the launch of the small twelve behind the river tracing water products, from the downstream of the canyon stream to the upstream wading and hiking, along the way to enjoy the long canyon, dangerous peaks and beautiful cliffs, green lake water, feel the original natural scenery.
In addition, there are a wide variety of summer resorts and campsites in Suiyang County, which are also a good place for tourists to enjoy a cool summer.
