The mascot of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, named Friggi, is an anthropomorphic image of the traditional French Phrygian hat, representing a strong symbol of freedom, inclusion, and people's ability to support great and meaningful causes. They wore a red, white, and blue colorway with a gold Paris 2024 logo on their chests. They also have a mischievous and expressive eye, made of the "coat of arms of France", which is a ribbon knot for French national ornaments. In the Smurfs cartoon, the Smurfs wear Phrygian hats.
The two figures of the Phrigi represent the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
