On Friday, the weather was sunny at the Shougang Racing Valley in Qinhuangdao, and the drivers were able to unleash the speed of their cars. Yang Xiaowei played well, ranking first in both qualifying sessions, taking pole position in both the full field and the Elite Group (MT Group). Wang Hao of Lifeng Racing and Hu Bo of 610 Racing won the second and third places in the elite group (MT group) of the first qualifying session, respectively. Both drivers finished in the top three in the second qualifying session, with Hu Bo second and Wang Hao third.
In the Excellence Class (AT Group), popular driver Shi Wei performed well, winning the second place in the first qualifying session and the first place in the class, and won the pole position in the group again in the second qualifying session. It was my first time racing in the Shougang Racing Valley in Qinhuangdao, and I built up my knowledge of the track by watching in-car videos and learning from my master before the race.
