After seven years of construction, one of the world's most difficult cross-sea cluster projects, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, will be officially opened to traffic for trial operation on June 30, and all operational work has been completed.
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor is about 30 kilometers away from the Humen Bridge in the north and about 31 kilometers away from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the south. Starting from the interchange of Shenzhen Airport, it crosses the Lingdingyang sea area to the west, connects with the South-Central Expressway through the Wanqingsha Interchange, lands on Ma'an Island in Zhongshan City, and docks with the Zhongkai Expressway.
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor is a world-class cross-sea cluster project integrating bridges, islands, tunnels and underwater interconnection, with a total length of 24 kilometers and a total length of about 17 kilometers.
Among them, the Shenzhong Bridge, which was built by the second company of the Chongqing central enterprise CCCC Second Harbor Bureau, is one of the key control projects of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel, with a total length of 2,826 meters and a main span of 1,666 meters, which is one of the key and important control projects of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel.
CCCC Second Harbor Bureau No. 2 Company undertook the construction, the main construction content includes the construction of the east main tower and the east anchorage of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, the erection of the main cable on the upstream side, the installation of steel box girders and the substructure of the East Africa Navigation Hole Bridge.
Every day, more than 4,000 merchant ships and cargo ships come and go in the Lingding Ocean. The Shenzhong Bridge spans the Lingding Ocean, like a giant dragon lying on the blue waves.
Towers rise into the clouds, and bridges resemble dragons. The height of the two main towers of the Shenzhong Bridge is 270 meters, the height of the bridge deck from the sea is 91 meters, and the navigable clearance height is 76.5 meters.
The two anchor blocks of the bridge each adopt two "8" shaped ground wall foundations with an outer diameter of 65 meters, and the total weight of a single anchor block is about 1 million tons.
The main cable is the main stress component of the suspension bridge, and is known as the "lifeline" of the suspension bridge. There are two main cables in the Shenzhong Bridge, with a maximum cable force of more than 100,000 tons per main cable, which is also the main cable steel wire of the suspension bridge with a high strength level in China.
The bridge has set five world records, including the largest span of steel box girders, the highest navigable clearance, the largest anchorage volume in the sea, the highest strength of the main cable wire, and the highest wind speed in the flutter test.
After the completion and opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, it will become the key "one horizontal" of the "A" shaped traffic backbone of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the driving time from Zhongshan to Shenzhen will be shortened from one and a half hours to about half an hour, becoming the main traffic artery connecting the urban agglomerations on both sides of the Pearl River Estuary.
This not only witnesses the super projects on the sea such as "Changhong Yueran", but also witnesses the amazement of China's infrastructure power in the world, and witnesses the rise of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
