On June 30, with the pressing of the starting column, the urban renewal project of Jinniu District of China Railway Second Bureau was officially launched. Zhou Deqiang, Secretary of the Jinniu District Party Committee, Luo Kaimin, Deputy Secretary of the Jinniu District Party Committee and District Mayor, Wang Haiwang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Railway Second Bureau, and Zhang Bing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Railway Second Bureau, attended the launching ceremony.
The event kicked off by watching the feature film "Advancing with Rong and Rejuvenating the Golden Bull" of the Jinniu District Urban Renewal Project of China Railway Second Bureau.
At the ceremony, Wang Haiwang delivered a welcome speech. He said that from June 12, 1950, when he took over the banner of "pioneer" awarded by Marshal He Long and rushed to the front line of Chengdu-Chongqing railway construction, the Second Bureau of China Railway has formed an indissoluble bond with Jinniu District. In 1979, the headquarters of the Second Bureau officially settled in Chengdu and became a territorial enterprise. Over the past 74 years, China Railway Second Bureau has successively undertaken the construction of railway projects such as Xicheng, Chenglan and Chengdawan, expressway projects such as Miansui and Lexi, and participated in the construction of a large number of livelihood projects such as 13 subways and Tianfu International Airport. With the implementation of urban renewal actions in the new era and the strengthening of urban infrastructure construction, China Railway Second Bureau, as a central enterprise in Sichuan, will always be a pioneer, properly handle the relationship between enterprises and localities, and make positive contributions to accelerating the construction of a new urban pattern and the construction of Chengdu Park City with a high sense of responsibility and mission.
It is understood that the urban renewal project of Jinniu District of China Railway Second Bureau is located in the North First Ring Road of Jinniu District, which not only enjoys the superior mature facilities of the First Ring, but also carries the profound historical and cultural heritage of old Chengdu and Jinniu District. The project consists of five major areas, including Tongjin Road and Majia Garden in the first ring road, and Shawan, Railway New Village and West First Ring Road outside the first ring road. The project implements the new requirements of "staying", "renovating" and "building" urban design with a very forward-looking approach, conducts in-depth research from the aspects of enterprise development, spatial structure, ecological weaving, cultural inheritance, public service support, and traffic bearing, focusing on the four levels of urban vitality, business atmosphere, life atmosphere, and cultural heritage, and builds a modern urban system with a high degree of integration of industry and city. Through the spatial interconnection of "headquarters office, commercial block, and high-end improved residence", we will create a livable high-end sector of the city and realize the overall improvement of regional value and influence. Through the independent renewal of enterprises and the linkage between the inside and outside of the first ring, the planning of the area will be optimized, the humanistic memory will be retained, the urban functions will be improved, and the urban renewal of Jinniu District will be fully promoted to achieve new breakthroughs.
