A total of more than 500 party members and representatives from various units directly under the city, front-line workers of Rizhao Port, and cycling enthusiasts inside and outside the city gathered on the seaside and greenway to go on a "riding encounter" trip.

"Today, we bicycle enthusiasts once again gather in the name of cycling, chasing the red mark with the rotating wheels in the beautiful scenery of mountains and seas, and this event also shows the new achievements of the development of Rizhao sports tourism." Starting from Gate 1 Square of Wanpingkou Scenic Area, they walked along the winding greenway, shuttling through new check-in scenes such as "Meet You to the Sun", the Blue Sky and Blue Sea Wedding Industrial Park, Taigong Island Oyster Park, Sunshine Coast Scenic Area, and Xingdao Blue Carbon Plan, and finally arrived at Rizhao Seaside National Forest Park.
In the romantic summer, the majority of cycling enthusiasts are at the same frequency as the city, releasing speed and passion on the beautiful greenway, along the way with sunshine, sand, sea, forest, reef and ...... During the event, the volunteers of the Rizhao Blue Sky Rescue Team, the Rizhao Volunteer Federation and the traffic police of the Shanhaitian Brigade of the Traffic Police warmly accompanied each other and provided a solid safety guarantee for every participant.
"We have arranged police on duty near several market intersections such as Daquangou, Zhangjiatai, and Renjiatai, and we have also arranged patrols of squadrons in the jurisdiction on Bihai Road to ensure the safety of the event." Meng Xianzhuo of the Shanhaitian Brigade of the traffic police introduced.
"There were 30 volunteers in total, and 10 of them participated in the ride. Our volunteers are responsible for the starting and ending points, mainly doing statistics, issuing number plates, maintaining on-site order, etc. Han Bin, vice president of the Rizhao Volunteer Federation, told reporters.
"In this event, we dispatched 21 team members. 1 medical support vehicle, 4 motorcycles, and 3 electric vehicles were dispatched, of which 2 motorcycles and 3 electric vehicles were distributed in each duty point. Cars are impassable in the greenway, and motorcycles are maneuverable and flexible on the greenway. In addition, 8 small medical emergency kits and 1 large medical emergency kit are also prepared. Shen Jiahong, captain of the Rizhao Blue Sky Rescue Team, said.
In recent years, cycling, as a green and low-carbon sport integrated into nature, has become a new fashion in Rizhao that can not only exercise the body, but also travel through the mountains and seas.
The Sunshine Coast Greenway and the Mountain-Sea Greenway connect the infinite scenery between the mountains and the sea in Rizhao, which is not only a beautiful window of the vibrant city, but also the most beautiful ecology for cycling and fitness.
