Recently, there is news on the Internet that the Dadongmen area is about to start urban renewal, with Huainan Road in the east, Wuhu Road in the south, Banqiao River-Nanqi River in the west, and North First Ring Road in the north, with a total area of about 1.91 square kilometers.

It is reported that there is no incremental space in the area, and the stock space is about 400 acres, and more than 300 acres of land can be vacated through the demolition of urban villages, old houses, old factories, old commercial offices and other plots.
Among them, there are 3 main urban villages, namely Lei Daying, Zhaocangfang and Pipadi, and there are about 14 old residential areas, 4 old factories, and 11 old commercial offices and other lands planned to be demolished.
Focusing on the "One Heart and Two Corridors", namely the Dadongmen Commercial and Financial Center, the Nanqi River Waterfront Green Corridor, and the Historical and Cultural Corridor, the Dadongmen Area will comprehensively improve the resources of industry, residence, commerce, landscape, education and grassroots service facilities in the area, and the urban interface will be greatly renewed.
At the same time, on the east side of Dadongmen Metro Station, a special amusement park jointly built by the Yaohai District Government and Hefei Railway has also been officially opened to the public, with a total area of about 2,539 square meters, which will further promote the improvement of the urban quality of the area.

Demolition was initiated in several areas of Yaohai
Outside the Great East Gate, many areas of Yaohai have started demolition.
It is understood that the area of "Huifeng Lane, Longyunsi Lane" on Tongda Road will be expropriated and demolished to prepare for the connection of the branch roads in the north and south districts of Longhu Tianxi (Guangde Road-Tongda Road).
Anhui Province Tongda Material Packaging Factory has been demolished, which is a key project to open up Fengyang East Road (Tongda Road-Longgang Road).

Ganghong Area Property Rights Housing Project: According to the official reply, the Ganghong Area Property Rights Housing Project is expected to be launched within this year or next year according to regional planning, large-scale construction, relocation plans and financial conditions.
Zhu Xiaoying Urban Village: It has been included in the scope of the urban renewal project of Longgang Area in Yaohai District in 2024, and the relevant departments of the district will actively promote the planning and construction of the project.
Fenghuangqiao Road, Yaohai District: At present, the scope of the demolition project and the expropriation compensation and resettlement plan have been announced.
Those who are demolished can choose monetary compensation for the house, or they can choose to exchange the property rights of the house in the nearest lot. Among them, the residential property rights that choose to be exchanged shall be "levied and supplemented by one" according to the legal and effective construction area of the suite (the location of the property rights exchange of residential houses is: Longxing Homestead).
Tushan Road Community: The community is within the scope of state-owned land acquisition and relocation in the east district of Dangtu Road.
Piantang Yingcheng Village: It has been included in Hefei's 2023-2025 urban village transformation plan, and it is expected that the relocation work will be officially launched in the second half of 2024.
Self-built houses in Longgang New Village: According to the relevant plans and progress of the urban renewal project in Hefei, the self-built houses in Longgang New Village will be relocated in 2024-2025.
Dongsheng Garden: Buildings 12 and 13 are part of the He'an Railway Requisition and Relocation Project, and are currently carrying out relevant work in the early stage of relocation, and the requisitioned houses will be handed over to the railway department after the relocation.
Zhugang Urban Village: The relocation area is about 120,000 square meters, involving 393 households. As for the relocation work in the area, it has been steadily advancing since last year. Today, it has entered the stage of complete demolition of above-ground buildings.
It was learned from the meeting that Yaohai concentrated on tackling key areas, focusing on key areas such as along Huainan Road and Yuxi Road, as well as key areas such as urban villages and Laohegang, concentrating on breakthroughs and forming a strong momentum of expropriation and relocation, and maximizing the effectiveness of requisition and relocation and the improvement of urban appearance.
The development of the area involves Xingji Community, Zhongyoufang Community, Sigang Community, Fulong Community, and Donggang Community in Daxing Town, Yaohai District.
