Fighting until the age of 18 to fight for a establishment, will the popularity of publicly-funded normal students decline this year?

author:Rose Rose

If your child did well in the college entrance examination this year, would you consider letting her (him) apply for the publicly-funded normal student? At present, there are 5 types of publicly-funded normal students enrolled in the college entrance examination in Fujian Province: including national public-funded normal students, compound public-funded normal students of Fujian Normal University, and pilot public-funded normal male students in Fujian Province. (The details can be found online)

In the past two years, there have been many college entrance examination candidates around me who have applied for the national public-funded normal students. The children of a few colleagues ranked one or two thousand in science in the province in the college entrance examination, and they could apply for a good 985 university, but in the end they applied for the publicly-funded normal students of the subordinate normal university, just to have a establishment.

Why did they make this choice? Is the work of a teacher really so popular?

Personally, I speculate that there are two major reasons: the first is the economic decline in the past two years, employment is not easy, and many companies are not treated as well as schools.

There are many cases circulating around me that are regarded as lessons from the past: the children of colleagues have graduated from the highly ranked 985 university and gone to work in a company. A few years later, because he couldn't adapt to the workplace culture of the company, he chose to return to the teacher recruitment examination room and returned to the teaching team.

What's more, there are also girls who spent a lot of money to study abroad and found a job with a monthly salary of only 35,000 yuan, which is far lower than the salary of teachers, and finally chose to return to the teaching team.

There are also some children who are not studying well and are trying to return to the road. For example, after graduating from 211 University with a major in accounting, my daughter has worked in a state-owned enterprise for a year, and she plans to take the teacher exam recently.

When my daughter comes home, she often complains that she works in a state-owned enterprise, and she is depressed and often trembling every day. Leaders also exert pressure from time to time during meetings.

At the regular meeting last Wednesday, the leader with an annual salary of one million years sternly said on the stage: You should cherish your work. A state-owned enterprise laid off 110,000 employees. If our company's performance continues to decline, we will also consider reducing wages.

The daughter said: The young colleague with the same qualifications as her couldn't help but secretly answer the call below, we will have a monthly salary of 5,000, and if you like it, you will drop it. In order to save costs, it is better to start with the leader!

At present, the salary of my daughter in the company is much lower than that of a teacher with the same qualifications. If the company's efficiency is not good, and then the salary is reduced, it will be even more incomparable.

Second, the environment of our city is good, and the publicly-funded normal students return to their hometowns to work, have an establishment, and can stay by their parents' side.

As a coastal city, we have a good environment and a pleasant climate, and most children are willing to choose to go back to their parents' city to work. The place of work is close to my parents, which is a joy for everyone.

Due to the small size of the city and the lack of high-quality enterprises, choosing a publicly-funded normal student means that it has surpassed many peers and won at the starting line.

You can go back to teaching in a high-quality middle school and live in a more prosperous urban area. With the establishment, there is no risk of unemployment, and it enjoys natural advantages in both future mate selection and children's education.

However, this year, the national government-funded normal student recruitment has introduced a new policy, I wonder if parents have a clear understanding?

It is summarized as a longer training cycle, and many developed cities cannot go to the main urban area, and they cannot lie flat after being admitted, and there is a risk of being kicked out. Specifically, it is manifested in the following changes:

The first is to implement the publicly-funded education (4 years for undergraduates, 2 years for master's students in education), and there is no four-year undergraduate.

Second, the employment area has narrowed. They must not be directed to teach in the main urban areas of municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities specifically designated in the state plan, or provincial capitals (except for the five autonomous regions, land border provinces, Hainan Province, Guizhou Province, and Qinghai Province). (The specific teaching area in Fujian Province is subject to the release of the Provincial Department of Education)

The third is that you can't lie flat after being admitted, and there is no one thing to do once and for all. At the end of the third year, if you pass the assessment, you can be guaranteed to study in this school, and if you don't pass, you will be eliminated and withdrawn and the relevant public-funded education fees will be returned. It is not once and for all that the graduate school is guaranteed, because the future employment choice will be sorted according to the comprehensive assessment results since the undergraduate. Those with good grades can be selected first.

This means that if students from Fuzhou and Xiamen in Fujian Province are ranked lower in their studies, they may not be able to return to their hometowns to work if they are chosen by others.

For example, this year, the Chinese Language and Literature major of East China Normal University recruited publicly-funded normal students in Xiamen, Quanzhou, and Sanming, Fujian Province. If the student with Sanming household registration ranks first, he has an excellent choice, and he can choose to work in Xiamen. If a student with household registration in Xiamen ranks low, he may not be able to return to Xiamen for employment.

Fourth, the new policy cannot be breached. Before the completion of the performance task, they must not be recruited (hired) as other public servants unless they are taught outside the targeted place (city, prefecture, or league). Defaults are included in the credit history.

Personally, I feel that the introduction of the new policy has obviously increased the requirements for state-funded normal students, and the popularity of applying for the examination in some areas should decline a little this year.

However, I don't think it will have much impact on the city of Xiamen. After all, there is a staffing of state-funded normal students, and other school-recruited and socially recruited teachers are basically participatory.

At the same time, not working in the main urban area has little impact on the candidate's personal experience. Xiamen is not a big city with convenient transportation. Key middle schools basically have new campuses outside the main urban area, and there is still a great possibility of teaching in key middle schools.

Even other types of publicly-funded normal students should not decline in popularity. For example, Fujian Normal University's compound publicly-funded normal bachelor's and master's degree programs are still quite attractive to candidates.

Friend, do you agree with me?
