The encirclement and suppression war showed the demeanor of a man
In 1914, in Pingjiang County, Hunan Province, China, a baby fell to the ground, influenced by the revolutionary feelings of the time, the baby's father finally decided to give his son a name that represented the iron-blooded spirit, and this name was Zhong Chibing.
Perhaps influenced by this name, Zhong Chibing was full of yearning for the Red Revolution since he was a child, and often played the Red Army games alone with his friends. It's just that this dream was not realized until 1930.
In 1930, Zhong Chibing, who had been a member of the Communist Youth League for a long time, finally received the party's approval to join the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. Zhong Chibing, who realized his childhood dream, has always practiced the spirit of his red revolution, actively carried out friendly communication with the people in the countryside, and firmly promoted the party's red program and spirit.
However, this beautiful life was completely shattered in 1935. In this year, the Kuomintang reactionaries headed by Chiang Kai-shek ignored foreign enemies and launched large-scale attacks and sweeps against the Red Army, which was also a revolutionary. A large number of patriots and red martyrs were brutally killed by the Kuomintang, and what is even more odious is that in order to completely exterminate our party's forces, the Kuomintang adopted the policy of preferring to kill 1,000 people by mistake rather than spare one, which directly led to the brutal murder of a large number of innocent people by the Kuomintang reactionaries.
According to some materials of that year, in some Red Army base areas, a large number of innocent people were randomly dumped by the Kuomintang in the streets and alleys of the cities, and the horror was no less than the massacre of the Japanese army at the beginning.
And when Zhong Chibing faced such a cruel and terrible enemy army. After the failure of the fifth anti-encirclement campaign, in order to maintain its viability, the Red Army began a large-scale strategic withdrawal. In February 1935, after the Red Army was red for a time, in order to get rid of the pursuit of the enemy, the Red Army finally decided to kill a horse pistol, and Loushan Pass became an important part of the success of the plan.

Seeing Wang Jialie fleeing, Zhong Chibing took the lead in pursuing with his soldiers, but he didn't expect that the desperate Wang Jialie suddenly drew out a regiment of troops to counterattack the pursuers led by Zhong Chibing, so the two teams fought like this.
In this tragic battle, the revolutionary fighters around Zhong Chibing fell one after another, but he still roared and killed the enemy, but suddenly Zhong Chibing fell to the ground, and the guards next to him hurriedly pulled him up, but saw a stream of blood flowing straight from Zhong Chibing's leg to the ground.
He was wounded, and one of the enemy's bullets went through his calf, tearing a large piece of flesh. The guard looked at Zhong Chibing's bleeding calf, and said worriedly: "Political commissar, you are injured, hurry up and retreat." ”
Then Zhong Chibing shook off the guard's hand, "Nonsense, the battle is not over yet, how can I leave my comrades and go first?" Keep playing! Then he roared and rushed into the crowd again.
Seeing the political commissar taking the lead in this way, those soldiers were also encouraged one by one, and roared and beat Wang Jialie's army back.
Three amputations show iron will
After the battle, the Red Army occupied Zunyi, so doctors were arranged to treat this warrior non-stop. But when the doctor unwrapped Zhong Chibing's strap, he couldn't help frowning when he saw the pair of bloody calves, "Such an injury must be amputated above the calf, but." "The doctor was struggling to look at the poor medical environment.
At any time, amputation is a very important operation, which requires not only the doctor's superb medical skills, but also the almost demanding medical environment.
But the Red Army at that time, pursued by the Kuomintang reactionaries, had no such conditions at all, not even anesthetics, only a woodcutter and a wooden saw borrowed from the peasants.
However, seeing such a situation, Zhong Chibing began to comfort the doctor, "It's okay, my body is made of iron plates, just come on." ”
So the doctor began the operation, pulling Zhong Chibing's calf with a saw, but from beginning to end, the 21-year-old revolutionary fighter did not shout, and even the little nurse next to him couldn't bear to close his eyes.
Unfortunately, although the operation was successful, but because of the poor environment, the fighter was unfortunately infected, so in order to rescue Zhong Chibing from the hands of death, the doctor performed a second operation, after this time, as if God was joking with the fighter, his body was still infected, and finally the doctor had to endure the pain to amputate the fighter's right leg.
At this point, this 21-year-old revolutionary fighter has become a one-legged fighter.
Swear to follow the expedition to the death
However, the encirclement of the Kuomintang was still shrinking, and in this case, the Red Army had to face a rapid evacuation, and after much consideration, the Party finally decided to let Zhong Chibing, who was physically incapacitated, stay at the home of the villagers to recuperate.
However, after the stubborn Zhong Chibing learned the news, he found the chief with a cane, and said in a trembling voice: "I am a Red Army man in life and a Red Army ghost in death, I will never abandon the party and stay in the rear alone, even if I climb, I will follow the army!" ”
Zhong Chibing's spirit finally moved the chairman, and finally arranged for him to go to the recuperation company of the Central Red Army and follow the large army forward.
And Zhong Chibing also used a cane to complete the 25,000-mile Long March.
And Zhong Chibing, who firmly followed the guidance of the party, also ushered in his new identity after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and he was arranged to work together by Marshal Nie Rongzhen's side, but because of his upright character, he was isolated and suppressed a lot.
