"Elden Ring" DLC Phantom City Raiders, Species Repository Moves + Boss Playing + Item Collection. The Shadow of the Golden Tree, the Shadow Tree, the incarnation of the playstyle. Maps of Shadow City unlock routes. Elden Ring DLC: Shadow of the Golden Tree is the latest expansion for the action role-playing game Elden Ring, set in the Shadowlands, with a variety of new additions (chilling underground labyrinths, menacing enemies, new weapons, armor, and more) to weave together another gripping story. The map of the Shadowlands is made up of multiple layers, and the actual explorable area is huge, making it a fantastic journey for players who love Elden Ring.
- Golden hippopotamus
From the Avenue Cross (Michaela Cross) Blessing Point, you can enter the Shadow City by heading northeast.
The layout of the shadow city is shown below.
Go to the Shadow City Pass at the Red Line.
Just walk along the road, open the city gate and take the elevator up to face the first boss: the golden hippopotamus.
Fighting a hippopotamus requires a relatively strong dodge ability, and heavy armor almost requires hunting dog footwork.
It must be dodged with its mouth wide open, otherwise it is basically an instant kill.
After the hippopotamus falls, there will be a short period of AOE fighting.
After dodging, you can get a few stabs.
DLC is actually Miyazaki's old thief who acquiesced that everyone would definitely summon the big brother, so the attack frequency of the monster's damage was very high.
Although Big Brother Hippo is also fast, it is relatively slow motion in DLC.
After killing a third of the blood, the hippopotamus will turn into a "golden porcupine".
Watch out for falling spikes, but this AOE damage is average.
Its attacks after jumping often have a continuous backmove, so don't rush into it.
When the blood is low, the hippopotamus will also roll, just judge the route and dodge.
After fighting, you can get two Needles of the Furnace and two Shadow Tree Fragments.
After beating the hippopotamus, go out of the door hole in the picture.
Clear the enemies on the cliff side on the left first.
Then go up the stairs on the right.
Watch out for ambushed enemies in the recess on the right side of the platform after the first flight of stairs.
After playing, enter the room on the right-hand side.
There are quite a few forging stones nearby.
The guards in the picture can jump out directly after being killed, and if you want to clean up the details, don't rush out of here.
In the room to the right of the guard, a lying enemy can be seen, drawn out and killed.
When you enter the room, there are two enemies on the left, so you can quickly kill the monster on the left hand first, so that it will be easier to face the high-speed swordsman on the right hand.
Drops the dagger in the left hand.
It's okay to jump down here, but we'll go back up the stairs and keep going.
-Banquet hall
Continue up the stairs.
The two enemies on the right are killed first.
There are also two enemies on the left cliff side, and you can jump and slash down at least one of them.
Two stacks of enemies drop the Mersmer Soldier armor.
Continue up the stairs to the ballroom.
There are two elites in the banquet hall, and the melee on the left hand side of the door is directly led out and killed.
Obtain a Forge Stone.
Then go back, and you can get a golden oath on the corpse on the right side of the banquet hall.
When he gets close to another ranged elite, he pulls out his twin spears.
After the fight, obtain Rune, the Land of Shadows.
- Shortcuts/Species Repositories
Walking out of the banquet hall, there was an ordinary supply of anti-saint pickled liver on the corpse on the side of the city wall on the left.
On the right, there are many burning ships.
Be careful not to rush too fast.
Behind the burning ships were several waves of enemies, battalion by battalion.
After playing, take the stairs on the right and go down to open a shortcut to the Golden Hippopotamus.
There is something strange on the stairs that will drop the gold grease attached to the rope.
After taking the shortcut, go back and go up the stairs to the right.
After cleaning up the monsters near the ship, you can scavenge the surrounding corpses to obtain supplies such as forged and ghost armor.
Then go up the stairs in front of the right.
Here you will encounter the red-clad monsters that are common in the DLC (similar to the invasion in churches).
It's fast, but it's not too difficult.
Behind the elite there is an elevator to the Species Repository Blessing Point.
- Small Golden Tree
Return to the Burning Ship area and head to the right.
Jump off the bridge.
There were forged stones on the corpses under the bridge.
At this time, you can see the small golden tree next to it and jump down.
Under the small golden tree, you can pick up the king's amulet.
Increases the toughness of the Dettol Holy Grail when used.
There's a heavy armor monster in the corner next to it, and the corpse behind it can be used to pick up gold and make an oath.
The monster also drops the Black Knight's Helmet.
It's the position where the author picks up things.
There were forged stones on the corpses in the doorway opposite the Golden Tree.
Jumping down will return you to the area you walked before.
There are two mobs in the doorway.
A ladder in the middle of the room opens a shortcut to the ballroom.
- Poni Village
In addition to the Golden Hippopotamus Route at the Main Gate, there is also the Boni Village Route that leads to the Phantom City-Parish Entrance.
To the northeast of the ruins of Moose is the village of Boni.
Walk through the arch.
To the left of the toppled tower is the passage.
Jump in through the hole.
Jump to the bottom layer by layer.
Keep drilling the hole.
You can see the buildings underground.
There are 3 monsters nearby, and there are things in the building that you can take.
After the fight, continue to jump down.
If you go through the cave, you will see a ladder.
Climb up to the blessed point of Boni Village.
Near the Blessing Point, you can loot a Ash.
- Entrance to the parish
From Boni Village, follow the route in the picture to Shadow City.
There are blessing points in the two red circles.
I ran all the way to the parish entrance blessing point.
First, go to the middle with the help of the roof in the water.
There are important items on the corpse on the left side of the opposite side, which can increase the level of the medicine bottle.
Large cemetery lily of the valley.
Then you can teleport to the entrance of the parish, so you don't have to run back the same way.
- Prayer hall
From the parish entrance, walk along the roof on the right.
Continue on the wall to the right.
Go up the remnant wall and jump on the platform on the right.
Watch out for the red self-destructing skeletons, which can run straight forward and leave them alone.
Go up to the front roof, to the left.
Then jump onto the diagonal support on the left and go up.
From under the roof hole, fall onto the beam below.
Jump off the beam in front of the left and enter the room.
After jumping down, you can see a rusty door next to it, and you need a prayer hall key.
- Flame Knight Branch
The Flame Knight side quest requires obtaining the Prayer Hall Key first.
This will open the prayer hall next to the Sunken Chapel.
Near the atrium of Tower Town, you will encounter the Flame Knight Qumran for the first time, and you will need to defeat him.
You can refer to the strategy of our 3DM strategy station tower town part: https://www.3dmgame.com/gl/3941762_3.html
Then there is the Church of Jihad, where he is encountered for the second time.
You can refer to the part where the Shadow Fragment collects the Church of the Holy War: https://www.3dmgame.com/gl/3941948_17.html
Defeat him this time to get the Prayer Hall Key.
Entering the prayer hall can see where he is praying and crying.
At this time, you can give him a dark eye mask or a blessed eye mask, see below for details.
Cover the blessed eye mask to get the ashes of Quinlan.
Covering the Darkness with an eye mask will give him his greatsword, which is relatively useful.
- Species Repository (Inner Repository)
Walking along the corridor opposite the prayer hall will lead to two red-clothed monsters in a row.
Presumably everyone is already familiar with this kind of DLC monster.
Defeating Messermore's embers will drop them.
After hitting the second one, go to the left rear and enter the corridor in the picture.
Turn right to the outside and follow the road in the water to see the lift.
Go up and turn right to the Species Repository (Inner Repository) Blessing Point.
Jumping here is the Species Repository Blessing Point that was opened earlier.
- Sunken Chapel
Go back to the promenade across from the prayer hall and go out this time through the door on the left side of the promenade.
Follow the road to the left and go up the stairs.
Keep walking to see the ladder ahead.
Note that there is a Bat monster in the recess on the right, and killing one will immediately spawn the other.
When you go up the stairs, you can see the gear winch, which turns to drain the water underneath, revealing more areas to explore.
Go down and remember to open the blessing point.
Go down from the door next to the ladder to the bottom.
- Dryads
After opening the blessing point in the submerged area, go to the courtyard in the middle.
When the dead tree is approached, the boss fight will be triggered.
It is basically the same as the rotten root forest of the poison swamp.
All moves can be dodged.
You can also take refuge with the Chubu tree.
Killing will drop the spikes.
-priest
After beating the dryad, continue to walk to the chapel next to it.
Once inside, you'll encounter an elite who summons a self-detonating skeleton.
It's relatively easy to play remotely here.
The main thing is to hide from the self-exploding skeleton and then find an opportunity to fight the priest, who is himself a red-clothed monster and is relatively vulnerable.
You can also lead away to fight, separating the main monster and the skeleton.
Kill drops the Death Mask Helmet.
Or go up from the elevator on the right side of the monster.
This is a return to the promenade opposite the previous prayer hall.
The idol of the deity that was previously soaked in the water is revealed, and you can jump on it.
Obtain Shadow Tree Fragments.
Then jump from here to sneak up on the priest just now, it's better to fight.
- Dark eye mask
Return to the Blessing Point of the Sinking Chapel and follow the Red Line route.
Approaching this area will spawn another dryad.
After playing, drop the dark eye mask.
It is an item required by the Flame Knight side quest.
- Blessed eye mask
Go back to where you beat the Priest of the Detonator and enter the hallway on the right.
In the chest above the stairs is the crafting notes of the Battlefield Priest1.
Directly in front of it is a door.
Enter the inside of the door.
Take the elevator into the cave to activate the Blessing Point.
Go out of the hole and cross the drawbridge into the church.
Statue locations can be used to obtain a blessed eye mask.
Walk down the stairs on the right to meet boss battles.
(There are blessing points before the boss fight.) )
- Phantom Tree Incarnation
In front of you is the corner area of the Phantom Tree, and when you enter, you will encounter the Shadow Tree's avatar boss.
The weak point of the boss is the head, and it is very weak fire.
It is recommended to prepare all kinds of fire enchantments and fire magic.
The boss has three phases, and each stage is very similar, all of which are resurrected after empty blood.
Block or roll to dodge when avataring a ranged attack.
After two swings, it lowers its head, and attacking it with fire is very effective.
The range of thorns is large and the distance is far away, but the damage is not particularly high, and can be avoided by shield blocking or high-speed maneuvering rolls.
Be sure to execute the boss after being killed, so that the boss will have less HP after resurrection.
The second phase has more ranged attacks, which can be shielded by dead trees in the field.
The boss will also sprint at high speed, so don't get in the way.
Kill and remember to execute.
The three-stage boss will self-destruct, and the damage is very high, so stay away (the heavy armor shield can be blocked).
It will explode once in the third phase, pay attention to the sound effect, first there is an explosion sound effect and then there is damage, and the sound effect will roll and dodge as soon as it comes out.
Then after half a blood, it will self-detonate three times in a row.,The self-explosion itself also has damage to the boss.,Just go up and collect residual blood after exploding.。
After playing, get the Memories of Shadow Wheel Grass and Michaela's Big Rune.
