At about 18:58 on June 29, 2024, a small passenger car traveling from Tieli to Qing'an had a unilateral accident at kilometer 313 of the Heha Expressway, killing 5 people and injuring 12 others. On the same day (June 29), according to CCTV News, a tourist bus carrying 21 people overturned in Genting Highlands in Pahang, Malaysia, killing two people, and local media said that Chinese citizens were killed.
