From June 26th to 28th, Li Yongjin, head of the provincial verification and work guidance group of the basic grassland demarcation work in Yunnan Province and senior pastor of the provincial grassland supervision and management station, led the provincial verification and work guidance group to carry out the provincial verification and on-site guidance of the preliminary results of the basic grassland demarcation in Xundian County.
The provincial verification and work guidance group first listened to the report on the delineation of the basic grassland in Xundian, inspected and accepted the basic grassland demarcation database, supporting materials, achievement report and on-site verification, learned in detail about the objectives, tasks, work processes and achievement data in the basic grassland demarcation work, and fully affirmed the rationality of the database and the effectiveness of the supporting materials. After the meeting, the provincial verification and work guidance group exchanged and discussed the problems and difficulties found in the process of delineating the basic grassland in Xundian County. After the meeting, the results of the delineation of the basic grassland in 16 towns (streets) in Xundian County were verified on the spot and on-site guidance was given.
The basic grassland demarcation is an important measure to implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, establish and improve the grassland protection system, and realize the coordinated development of the economy, society and ecological environment.
In the next step, the county forestry and grassland bureau will be guided by maintaining ecological functions and ensuring national ecological security, adhere to the priority of protection, scientific utilization, and management in accordance with the law, strengthen use control, establish a sense of bottom line, and strictly work procedures to ensure the smooth progress of the basic grassland demarcation.
