Yellow warning for severe convective weather
The Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning for heavy rain at 10 o'clock on July 1: It is expected that from 14 o'clock on July 1 to 14 o'clock on July 2, there will be heavy to heavy rain in most parts of Jiangsu and Anhui, central and eastern Hubei, most of Hunan, northern Jiangxi, southern Guizhou, northern Guangxi, western Yunnan, southern Hebei, central and western Shandong, Xinjiang along the Tianshan Mountains and the Ili River Valley. Among them, there are heavy rainstorms in parts of central Jiangsu and Anhui, eastern Hubei, southwestern and northeastern Hunan, northwest Jiangxi, southeastern Guizhou, and northern Guangxi, and extremely heavy rains (250~260 mm) in southwestern Hunan and northern Guangxi. Some of the above areas are accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (the maximum hourly rainfall is 30~60 mm, and can exceed 80 mm locally), and there are strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds locally.
The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for severe convective weather at 10 o'clock on July 1: It is expected that from 14 o'clock on July 1 to 14 o'clock on July 2, there will be thunderstorms with strong winds or hail above level 8 in parts of central Inner Mongolia, eastern Liaoning, northern Shanxi, central and northern Hebei, central and western Shandong, eastern Henan, central and southern Anhui, northeast and southern Jiangsu, western Shanghai, eastern Hubei, central and eastern Hunan, northern Jiangxi, southeastern Guizhou, and northeast Guangxi. Among them, parts of central Shandong, central and southern Anhui, northeast and southern Jiangsu, southeastern Hubei, northeast Hunan, northern Jiangxi and other places will have thunderstorms and gales above level 10, with maximum winds of more than 11 levels, and there may be tornadoes locally.
There will be short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rainfall greater than 20 mm in parts of eastern Liaoning, western Xinjiang, northwest and southern Hebei, southwestern Beijing, central, western and southern Shandong, eastern Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, western Shanghai, eastern and southern Hubei, Hunan, central and northern Jiangxi, northeast Zhejiang, southeastern Fujian, southern Sichuan, southeastern Chongqing, southern Guizhou, southwestern Yunnan, and northern Guangxi. Some areas in northeastern Guangxi and other places will have hourly rainfall greater than 50 mm, and the maximum can reach more than 80 mm.
