On the morning of June 27th, the exhibition "Charming Longxi: City Memory" was launched at the Mojiancheng Art Museum.
Mo Jiancheng, former chairman of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association and director of the China-America Association, attended the opening ceremony, Sheng Shulan, vice chairman of the CPPCC, delivered a speech, Qi Xuefeng, secretary of the Longxi County Party Committee, announced the launch, and Liu Shuwu, chairman of the county CPPCC, delivered a speech. County leaders Tian Xuerong, Yuan Wenyao, Zhang Rui and others attended.
Sheng Shulan said that the exhibition truly reproduces the changes of the times and the historical imprint of the development of Longxi Ancient County, vividly shows the humanistic atmosphere and urban spirit of Longxi social development, and every photo is an indelible memory of the city, and it is a song of endeavor to show the CPPCC of Longxi County in an all-round way to help economic and social development. It is hoped that all walks of life will continue to inherit the culture of Longxi, carry forward the spirit of Longxi, and spread the story of Longxi through this exhibition. The CPPCC of Longxi County should take this exhibition as an opportunity to continue to write and tell the story of the party, the story of China and the story of Longxi, rejuvenate the pride and honor of the people of the county in their hometown of Longxi, arouse more people's attention and love for the history and culture of Longxi, and further inspire the people of the county to make positive contributions to the construction of a happy and beautiful new Longxi.
Liu Shuwu said that this exhibition vividly shows the glorious course of the people of Longxi in overcoming obstacles and forging ahead under the strong leadership of the party in the form of precious photos and pictures, and reproduces the earth-shaking historical changes of Longxi, a famous historical and cultural city of 1,000 years. The county CPPCC will take this exhibition as an opportunity to build more wise words, offer more pragmatic strategies, and seek more innovative moves, serve the people with high-quality consultation and high-level suggestions, sing the voice of the Longxi CPPCC in the new era, and tell the story of the Longxi CPPCC in the new era.
The exhibition exhibited more than 1,000 pictures, the exhibition is divided into three sections: "City Memory", "Ancient County New Look" and "Picture of Longxi", of which "City Memory" is divided into "Approaching the Drum Tower", "Torch Inheritance", "Industrial History", "Streets and Alleys", "Time Fragments", "Lens Playback" and other 6 units, the picture content reflects the urban and rural appearance, economic development, people's life and social changes in Longxi, etc., and the exhibition will last until September 30.
