England 2-1 Slovakia (extra time): Bellingham and Kane become late heroes

England looked set to be on the verge of an embarrassing early exit from the tournament until Jude Bellingham stepped up in stoppage time to strike a brilliant barbed before Harry Kane netted the winner.

Bellingham's goal of 94 minutes and 34 seconds was England's latest goal in regulation time at a European Championship and the Three Lions' first after a previously lackluster performance.

Kane, who played a record for England in his 79th appearance, was well-timed and scored the fastest goal of the tournament at that time with a header on the 50th second of extra-time.

Spain 4-1 Georgia: Reds come back to win

Spain were the only team to have won all of their games so far in the tournament and overcame a thrilling opening victory in the Cologne Cup thanks to second-half goals from Fabian Ruiz, Nico Williams and Dani Olmo.

Robin Le Normand's own goal in the 18th minute allowed Luis de la Fuente's side to concede for the first time at Euro 2024, but Spain ended up winning by the largest margin to become the team conceded the most goals in this tournament.

Spain had 17 shots on goal in the first half, but only Rodri's first goal of the tournament went into the net.

Williams became the first player in the history of the European Championship (since 1980) to achieve a 100% (46/46) goals, assists and passes completion rate in his starting game.
