Artist Profile
Li Naizhou was born in Chongqing in December 1945, his ancestral home is Tianjin, and he studied Chinese painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 1982 to 1984. Honorary Vice President of the Chinese Painting Society, Researcher of the China National Academy of Painting, Researcher of the Chinese Academy of Arts, Member of the Chinese Artists Association, Librarian of the Beijing Museum of Culture and History, and Painter of the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy.
The Chinese painting "Little Characters" won the Outstanding Works Award of the 6th National Art Exhibition; "March in March" won the 10th Outstanding Works Award and the Qi Baishi Academic Award, and was collected by the National Art Museum of China; In 2016, he created "Lanting Yaji" and was included in the collection of Chinese epic art exhibition, which was collected by the National Museum; "The Battle of Jingjing" is a major historical theme in Beijing and has been collected by the Beijing Museum of Culture and History.
