Since 2021, Huai'an County has included in the provincial plan with an installed capacity of 2.39 million kilowatts, 200,000 kilowatts of new energy storage, and 6,000 kilowatts of biomass power generation, and plans to implement one pumped storage project with an installed capacity of 400,000 kilowatts. At present, the photovoltaic projects of Guodian Power, China Energy Conservation Wind Power and China Energy Construction Wind Power have started construction, and the biomass power generation project is being installed and can be put into operation within the year.
