On June 28, the "Inaugural Meeting of the Institute of Green and Low-Carbon Iron and Steel Industry and the Forum on High-quality Development of the Iron and Steel Industry" was held in Qinhuangdao. At the meeting, it was announced that the College of Iron and Steel Green and Low-Carbon Industry of Hebei Institute of Environmental Engineering was officially established. The college is jointly built by 22 units, including Hebei Institute of Environmental Engineering, Hebei Environmental Science Society, Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute, Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd., Hebei Institute of Standardization, and Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association.
