The new quality productivity looks at the "deep middle"丨This "sea of stars", why does it make people rush?

64,000 trips. This is the real-time recorded vehicle traffic data on the first day of the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor.

People expressed their enthusiasm and expectation for this "super project" with their footsteps and actions: at 17 o'clock on the same day, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage even reached the peak of 08,000 vehicles/hour, and the traffic continued until late at night.

And this is not the first time that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has set up a night dragon in Lingdingyang.

The new quality productivity looks at the "deep middle"丨This "sea of stars", why does it make people rush?

This is the ninth consecutive year that the Zhuhai-1 satellite has drawn and produced a nighttime light remote sensing map for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. By capturing the distribution of lights in the Greater Bay Area in the past nine years, it can reflect the regional economic and social development to a certain extent.

Since 1997, more than 20 years, Humen Bridge, Nansha Bridge, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge...... Almost every cross-river and sea-crossing project across the Lingding Ocean has become a "hotline" linking the east and west banks of the Pearl River Estuary.

The intersection of the rolling traffic and the nighttime lights of the Shenzhong Passage marks a brilliant curve on the satellite image. The Pearl River Delta is also driven by this traffic project, connecting the dots with lines, and gradually becoming a "sea of stars". While lighting up the night sky of the Greater Bay Area, it also lights up a new imagination space for regional collaborative development.

Today, this "sea of stars" continues to extend outward.

Coincidentally, on the same day that the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage was opened, the Hehuiguan Expressway Longchuan to Xunwu (provincial boundary) branch line project (Longxun Expressway) was also officially opened. After the opening of this inter-provincial expressway linking Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces, the driving distance from Ruijin City, Xunwu County and other places in Jiangxi Province to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be shortened by about 30 kilometers.

New passage out of the province, new linkage possible. Don't underestimate the half-hour drive saved, Jiangxi's Ganzhou navel oranges, watermelons and other special agricultural products can be transported to the Greater Bay Area to avoid the bumps caused by many bends and uphill slopes on the national highway. The connection between the "vegetable basket" and "fruit basket" between Guangdong and Jiangxi may be further strengthened.

Whether it is the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor or the Longxun Expressway, whether it is the east and west banks of the Pearl River Estuary or the border between Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces, they seem to be far apart, but they jointly reflect the top-level design idea of transportation construction in the Greater Bay Area and Guangdong - to leverage the coordinated development between regions with transportation construction.

This idea can be better confirmed by the series of POI heat maps of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area based on satellite and multi-source geographic information data: the darker the color, the higher the density of the regional transportation network. In the past nine years, Guangdong has continued to lay out transportation "work" in key areas within the Greater Bay Area, and has also "taken small steps" in the construction of transportation projects in the Bay Area and the east, west and north of Guangdong, Guangdong and other central provinces.

This can also be found in the "Guangdong Provincial Expressway Network Plan": in 2035, Guangdong will build 15,000 kilometers of expressways. The Greater Bay Area will form a "12 vertical, 8 horizontal, 2 rings and 16 shots" main skeleton expressway.

Among them, there are "super projects" such as the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage and the Huangmaohai Passage, which will further "pull" the cities along the Pearl River Estuary into the 100-kilometer "Golden Inner Bay" of the Pearl River Estuary; There are also "capillaries" like Longxun Expressway, which smooth inter-provincial circulation and dense weaving of the east, west and north of Guangdong, so that "poetry and distance" are no longer far away.

Just next year, Guangdong will achieve one-hour high-speed rail access in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and two-hour access in Guangdong Province. In terms of goods circulation, it will achieve one-day delivery in China...... Standing on the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor and looking outward, along the "super project" of the Pearl River Estuary, along the continuous extension of the traffic network, new traffic projects are rising one after another, which not only connects a more brilliant sea of stars in the night sky, but also draws a clearer and clearer development answer on the land of southern Guangdong.
