From June 27th to 28th, the city's emergency rescue special service team organized and carried out cross-regional emergency rescue drills under hot conditions to test the team's emergency response capabilities, temper the will to fight, and improve the comprehensive combat level of the implementation of urgent, difficult, dangerous and heavy tasks.
The drill simulated a 6.2-magnitude earthquake in Shibu Town, Changyi City, with buildings collapsing, bridges collapsing, people falling into the water, vehicles being smashed, and people trapped in some villages at the epicenter. The drill set up 16 subjects, including emergency evacuation of the masses, personnel search and rescue, medical aid, health and epidemic prevention, and emergency transfer of critically injured people. The drill pulled more than 260 people from 12 social emergency rescue teams, and dispatched more than 100 sets (sets) of various rescue equipment such as ball control, hand-held individual soldiers, and unmanned aerial vehicles, which effectively tested the rapid response ability and cooperative combat ability of the emergency rescue team.
After the exercise, the municipal emergency rescue special service team focused on the work goal of "everyone stresses safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies - and strive to improve the ability of grassroots disaster prevention and avoidance", and carried out capacity improvement training to the social organizations participating in the drill on emergency safety knowledge and the use of self-help and mutual rescue materials and equipment, so as to ensure that the grassroots emergency management system and capacity building are continuously strengthened.
