Recently, the gourd of Huanghewan Village, Minghua Township has entered the full flowering period, and the gourd flowers are blooming one after another, the golden flowers are gently swaying in the breeze, and the air is filled with the elegant fragrance of the gourd flowers. Growers are busy working in the fields, a picture of a hopeful pastoral "good abundance".
At present, it is the critical period of gourd pollination and fruit hanging, walking into the fields of Huanghewan Village, the "powder" farmers take advantage of the good weather to walk through the sea of flowers, and carry out artificial pollination of the gourd in full swing.
"I tried to plant 23 acres of gourds this year, these two days are the key time to pollinate the gourd, there have been 10 acres of gourd pollination, the remaining gourd is expected to be done in 3 days, more than 20 people will be hired every day to pollinate, this year's biggest hope is to have a good harvest." Wu Kaixu, a villager in Huanghewan Village, Minghua Township, said.
