1. English 1 & English 2

English 1:

The compulsory courses of the public courses in the self-study examination are the courses of the self-examination specialty, the course credit is 7 points, and the textbooks used are the national version of the textbooks.

English II:

It is also a compulsory course for the public course in the self-study examination, and it is a self-examination undergraduate course, and the course credit is 14 points, which is the highest credit course among all subjects. The textbooks used are still the national edition.

Both types of assessments are written exams, which include the following types of questions: Reading Judgment, Reading Choice, Summarizing the Idea of Paragraphs and Completing Sentences, Filling in Sentences, Filling in Words, Gestalt Completion, and Essay Writing. The maximum score is 100 points, and 60 points are passed.

2. Degree English

The Bachelor's Degree English Proficiency Test is a unified examination organized by the provincial higher education authorities, and its purpose is to objectively test the English language knowledge and application ability of adult undergraduate graduates who are not English majors applying for a bachelor's degree.

It is usually used to test whether it meets the general requirements of English teaching for non-English majors in general undergraduate education, and it is also one of the necessary conditions for adult higher education graduates in various provinces and cities to obtain adult bachelor's degrees.

The degree English assessment is mainly based on written and computer-based tests, and includes the following types of questions: vocabulary and grammatical structure, reading comprehension, cloze in the blanks, translation, and practical writing. The maximum score is 100 points. Candidates are required to have approximately 4200 vocabulary words.

Note that in some provinces, you must pass the degree English test in order to obtain a degree certificate, but in some provinces you use other exams instead of degree English exams.

3.CET 4级与CET 6级

CET Level 4 and CET Level 6 exams tend to require full-time post-secondary students, undergraduate and graduate students to take the exam.

Normally, this English test will be taken twice a year, in June and December.

4. National English Proficiency Test

The National English Proficiency Test (hereinafter referred to as PETS) is a graded test sponsored by the National Examination Center of the Ministry of Education to test candidates' English proficiency.

Applicants are not restricted by age, occupation, ethnicity, etc. (except for students in the compulsory education stage), and can choose different levels according to the actual situation of their mastery of English, but they can only apply for one level at a time.

According to the relevant regulations, this program does not accept students in the compulsory education stage to apply for the examination. At the same time, candidates are strictly prohibited from taking the same subject for the same exam repeatedly, otherwise they will be dealt with as violations.
