Following the heated discussion in the market with a starting price of 99,800 yuan for the BYD Qin L DM-i and the Seal 06 DM-i, BYD dealers revealed that another blockbuster model equipped with the fifth-generation DM hybrid system, the Song L DM-i, will be officially launched in August. At present, blind bookings have been opened for the new car, and the starting price is expected to be 109,800 yuan.
The interior design of the Song L DM-i will be the same as that of the Song L, with high-end features such as independent LCD instrument clusters, a floating center control screen, and a crystal electronic gear lever. In addition, the new car will also offer high-power wireless charging for mobile phones, as well as the possible use of push-button door opening, further enhancing the sense of technology and convenience.
In terms of power, the Song L DM-i is equipped with the same powertrain as the Qin L DM-i, with a maximum engine power of 74kW, matched with a single motor with a peak power of 160kW. The vehicle features a front MacPherson + rear four-link suspension system, which is expected to provide excellent ride stability and comfort. Most excitingly, it is expected to have a range of more than 2,000 km, providing a better choice for long-distance travel and urban commuting.
