"Come on!" "Hurry, hurry, hurry!" From June 29th to 30th, the 2024 Yuhang District Primary and Secondary School Students' Swimming Competition was held in Yuhang No. 1 Middle School.
At the scene, the water splashed in the pool, and the athletes used their superb swimming skills and tenacious fighting spirit to constantly refresh the best results of individuals and teams.
The competition consists of 50m/100m breaststroke, 50m/100m freestyle, 50m/100m backstroke, 4×50m freestyle relay and other events, covering 6 categories: primary school boys' group, primary school girls' group, junior high school boys' group, junior high school girls' group, high school boys' group, and high school girls' group, with a total of 277 athletes participating.
A total of 58 intense races were played over the two days. In the end, Inter Foreign Chinese School, Dipont Arts and Science School, and Hangzhou Huilan Future Science and Technology City School won the top three teams in the primary school group. Xianlin Middle School, Future Science and Technology City Haichen Middle School, and Future Science and Technology City School Affiliated to Hangzhou Normal University won the top three teams in the middle school group; Bottle Kiln Middle School, Yuhang No. 1 Middle School, and Liangzhu Vocational High School won the top three in the high school group team competition.
In the future, the Yuhang District Education Bureau and the Yuhang District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Tourism and Sports will continue to work together to strengthen the promotion and popularization of swimming, provide more students with opportunities and platforms to participate in swimming competitions, stimulate students' love and interest in sports, and promote the healthy development of students' physical and mental health.
