For the traditional camp, we mainly counted the sales completion of Geely, Changan, BYD, SAIC, Dongfeng, Great Wall, and Chery, and the order is their achievement rate ranking.
As a former domestic brother, Geely's annual sales target for 2024 is relatively conservative, only 1.9 million units, and as of May 31, Geely Automobile's cumulative sales data has reached 789,600 units, with a target achievement rate of 42%. The second half of the year is the peak sales period, and Geely wants to complete the goal, which can be described as a hand-holding.
Changan Automobile's sales target set at the beginning of the year was 2.8 million units, and the cumulative sales volume for January ~ May this year reached 1,100,900 units, with a target achievement rate of about 40%. Changan Automobile is a typical representative of two-legged walking, both popular fuel vehicles to stabilize the basic disk, but also to accelerate their own new energy transformation, which in the field of new energy, Changan Automobile has recently launched a lot of new cars, such as Venucia series, dark blue series, etc., from the trend point of view, Changan is very promising to complete this year's goals.
Next is the heavyweight BYD, as the well-deserved boss of today's own brand, BYD's 23 years to complete the feat of annual sales of more than 3 million units, full of confidence BYD decided to go one step further this year, the target set at the beginning of the year is 450 ~ 5 million units. As of mid-June this year, BYD's cumulative sales were 1,434,700 units, and the brand's target achievement rate was 32% based on the minimum target sales of 4.5 million units, and only 29% if calculated according to the sales target of 5 million units. Personally, I think BYD has hope to complete the goal, but it is more difficult.
SAIC Motor is arguably a ruthless player, and this year he has set an annual sales target of 5.45 million units for himself, 450,000 units more than BYD's maximum target. As of May 31, the brand's cumulative sales were 1.526 million units, and the target achievement rate was 28%, and the hope of achieving the target is very slim.
As of May 31, its cumulative sales were 699,600 units, while its annual sales target was 2.75 million units, with a target of only 25%.
The situation of Dongfeng Group is not much different from that of GAC Group, but the sales of the brand are slightly better, and as of May 31, cumulative sales have reached 811,900 units. Unfortunately, the Dongfeng Group's annual sales target is 3.2 million units, so the target achievement rate is only 25%, which is the same as that of the GAC Group.
As a slower self-owned brand to transform at a faster pace, Great Wall's performance this year is far from meeting expectations, with cumulative sales of only 461,900 units as of May 31, and a target achievement rate of 24%.
At the bottom of the list is Chery, whose cumulative sales as of May 31 were 900,200 units, and the sales target set at the beginning of the year was 4 million units, with a completion rate of only 23%. Personally, I believe that Chery is a relatively successful existence in the transformation of its own brands, and it can be done steadily, and there is no need to set such a high goal for yourself, which will only increase the pressure.

Different from the high target of three or four million units in the traditional camp, the new EV manufacturers are relatively conservative in setting targets, but at present, the completion of each goal is not very optimistic.
Among the new forces, the highest target completion rate is Ideal, the brand has an annual sales target of 480,000 units this year, and as of mid-June, its cumulative sales are 171,000 units, and the target achievement rate is 36%. After the ideal MGEA hit the street, the ideal suffered a heavy blow, and a number of pure electric models originally planned this year were forced to be postponed.
At the beginning of 2024, the brand set an annual sales target of 230,000 units, and as of mid-June, the cumulative sales figure has reached 80,300 units, with a target achievement rate of 35%.
NIO has the same annual sales target of 230,000 units as of ZEEKR, and as of mid-June, the brand's cumulative sales volume was 78,000 units, with a target achievement rate of 34.7%. Recently, NIO's sales have picked up, and if the follow-up Ledao L60 explodes after its launch, then the brand is still very hopeful of completing its goal.
The brand's annual sales target is 600,000 units, and as of mid-June, its cumulative sales were 183,000 units, and the sales figure is even ahead of the ideal, but the target achievement rate is only 31%.
Next is Leap, which is in the second echelon, and the brand's sales target for 2024 is 250,000 units, which is slightly higher than Zeekr and NIO. However, as of mid-May, its cumulative sales were only 78,100 units, and the target achievement rate was 31%.

The shrinkage of the C-end market is a foregone conclusion, and the B-end situation has not been opened for a long time, and it is really difficult for GAC Aion to complete the goal.
