On the occasion of celebrating the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to further deepen the national reading promotion activities and improve the quality of the new national reading space, Xiqing District Library and Li Qizhuang Street jointly launched the "Guliu Reading Club" with the theme of "Children's Heart to the Party and Welcome July 1st" in the new reading space of Jincheng Jiayuan, and organized children readers to share the Chinese red classic picture book "Little Pony".
"Little Pony" is adapted from the novella "Little Pony and the "Big Leather Boots" Shuquan by writer Yan Yiyan, Yan Yiyan is a famous writer and screenwriter in the mainland, "Little Pony and the "Big Leather Boots" Uncle won the first prize of the second national children's literature creation. The story takes place in the Northeast Linhai during the Anti-Japanese War, the little protagonist surnamed Jiang, is the landlord's family of Ma Xin, he escaped to the mountains to join the anti-Japanese coalition army because of the landlord's abuse, after the training and education of the comrades in the army and the uncle of "big leather boots", he continued to exercise himself in combat life, and gradually grew into an excellent little soldier. The author's depiction of the battle story between the anti-Japanese coalition forces and the enemy in the deep mountains and dense forests, as well as the witty and brave image of the "ponyherd", have deeply attracted generations of young readers.
There are four links in this activity, namely: full text guide; Readers' reading, communication and sharing; beat the drum and pass the flowers, and draw red classic poems for recitation; Red classic theme canvas bag graffiti. First of all, the volunteers of Xiqing District Library gave a full text guide for the young readers, told the essence of the story, and at the same time asked questions to the young readers, so that the children could answer enthusiastically. Then, parents and children shared their experience of reading the red classic picture book "Little Ponyherd", and through drumming and passing flowers, in a joyful interaction, they extracted red classic poems and recited poems. Finally, the children picked up colorful paintbrushes and scribbled red canvas bags with their hearts, and expressed their love for the motherland in a single stroke.
This activity stimulated the patriotic enthusiasm of young readers, and from the picture book stories, let the children know the witty, brave and tenacious little pony, whose unyielding, tenacious and fearless spiritual qualities are worthy of our admiration and learning. The children are also determined to study hard in the future, establish firm patriotic beliefs and ideals, and contribute their own strength to the construction of the motherland when they grow up.
Xiqing District Library will continue to cooperate with Li Qizhuang Street to carry out a series of themed reading activities of "Guliu Reading Club - Jincheng Jiayuan New Reading Space", and continuously improve the quality of the library's reading space and promote the in-depth development of national reading promotion through multiple modes such as "online + offline" and "exchange and sharing + role experience".
