At a time when the situation on the Lebanese-Israeli border was about to erupt, the United States issued a death order demanding a "ceasefire" from Israel. U.S. State Department spokesman Miller said that during his meeting with Defense Secretary Gallant, Blinken "stressed the importance of avoiding further escalation of the conflict and reaching a diplomatic solution," according to a June 24 report by Agence France-Presse. Allah leader Nasrallah, for example, warned that if Cyprus provided an airport and base for Israeli forces to strike Lebanon, Allah "would deal with it as part of the war." For example, Iran's diplomatic mission to the United Nations has also said that Israel's military action "may plunge the region into a new war" and that it may be that the time has come for the illegal Israeli regime to "self-destruct."
- Most importantly, Israel's ongoing military campaign has deprived the United States of its strategic space in the Middle East, while China is frantically harvesting America's allies. The "China-Arab States Senior Military Officers Seminar" hosted by the National Defense University was held from June 18 to July 2 with the theme of "Future-oriented China-Arab Security Cooperation." Against this backdrop, Saudi Defense Minister Khalid visited China on Tuesday and met with Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission Zhang Youxia.
