According to Harpy, in the emergency room of the Air Force Central Hospital, after the doctor found that Zhang Zhijie had no pulse and was breathing spontaneously, he immediately underwent CPR and used a ventilator for auxiliary treatment. The first aid lasted for three hours, but Zhang Zhijie did not see any spontaneous breathing reaction. Harpy said: "At 20:50 on the 30th, the doctor announced Zhang Zhijie dead. ”

He added that the Chinese team then requested that Zhang Zhijie be transferred to the Central General Hospital for further treatment. Although cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed for another hour and a half, there was still no spontaneous breathing response, and the rescue was finally stopped at 23:20.
