Routine 1: Spend money to change the results of the college entrance examination
Some college entrance examination candidates and their parents were introduced by acquaintances or learned on the Internet that they were able to meet the so-called "masters" who could enter the college entrance examination system through "hackers", modify their college entrance examination results, and at the same time ask for a high "service fee". Reminder: The so-called hacking modifies the score is not technically feasible. The online marking of the college entrance examination is not on the Internet, but the use of intranet. Before the release of candidates' results, the original data is archived and the data is backed up off-site.
Routine 2: Volunteer to fill in 100% guaranteed
The criminals claim to have mastered internal big data and are able to "pinpoint institutions". Pretending to be a so-called volunteer expert, claiming that "100% guaranteed" and "no money is wasted". Through the "Volunteer Tutoring" APP and website, in the name of "one-to-one" service for candidates, they charge a high fee and get away with it. Warm reminder: When filling in the volunteers, candidates should comprehensively refer to the consulting service information provided by the local admissions examination institutions and the middle schools and relevant colleges and universities, and fill in the information independently and reasonably in combination with their actual situation, and do not believe in the so-called "high-priced" volunteer consulting services.
Routine 3: You can be "admitted early"
The criminals pretended to be the college admissions office and called to say that because the art colleges enrolled students early, the candidates' admission status was "free to vote". They will inform the scammer that if they want to be admitted to the school, they need to pay the tuition fee in advance, otherwise they will be withdrawn and will not be admitted. Warm reminder: The early batch admission is mainly for candidates from national defense and art colleges, and the admission work is all submitted by the computer system according to the rules of volunteering and filing, and is not affected by any human factors.
Routine 4: Provide "internal indicators" for supplementary enrollment quotas
Criminals lied to the parents of candidates that the places of a certain university were not filled, and the candidates could get supplementary places by spending money to "dot points", so as to defraud the parents of candidates. In some scams, scammers will also falsely claim to have a special relationship and can buy "internal indicators" and "unplanned indicators". Warm reminder: Candidates and parents should be highly vigilant against such fraudulent information of "spending money to buy university places", understand and confirm the examination admissions policies and information from formal channels, and do not be gullible and deceived.
Routine 5: Issuing national grants
Scammers take advantage of the financial difficulties of some candidates' families and need to pay the tuition fees through financial aids to go to college, pretend to be college staff or education department staff, or directly falsely claim that they have projects in hand, and can apply for college grants for candidates and ask parents to pay the registration fee first. The examinees and their parents believed it and remitted money to each other, but later found out that there was no such thing at all. Warm reminder: When receiving a call or message from a person claiming to be a staff member of a university, education, finance, etc., and to issue "national grants", "return of compulsory education fees" or "student aids", candidates and parents must take the initiative to contact the local education department or school for verification.
Routine 6: Pretending to be a military school enrollment
Under the guise of recruiting "trainees of local party committees," "self-financed students," and "national defense students" in military academies, some lawless elements have even forged official seals of military documents, impersonated personnel of military organs or enrollment departments, and promised that the education departments would accept their academic qualifications and that they would all be arranged to work in the army after graduation. Warm reminder: There are no internal indicators for military school enrollment, there will be no unplanned expansion, "pre-recording" in advance, and candidates and parents should not be deceived by some fake "documents", and must be verified through formal channels.
Routine 7: Forge the admission letter
Criminals pretend to be college admissions officers to send fake admission notices to candidates, or send relevant admission text messages to ask candidates to transfer tuition and fees to designated bank accounts in order to defraud money. Warm reminder: To enter through the official website certified link or the official website released by the school and education department to determine your admission information, you must verify the authenticity of the account through a variety of channels when transferring and remitting money.
