I don't know, everyone found that the political scene in France is very interesting today.
Macron decided to take a "big gamble" and dissolve the parliament ahead of schedule for elections, but the far-right is too fierce. The result? Macron was "lame", even the prime minister submitted his resignation, and the current government suddenly became a caretaker government.
The far-right won a resounding victory in the first round of voting, confidently announcing that it was considering taking office. The result? The left wing became a dark horse and became the biggest winner.
After the upset on the left, just when it was thought that it was about to make a big show. The result? The Socialist Party, the Communist Party of France and the Ecological Party, and the "Indomitable France" party, because of the distribution of power, began to fight among themselves.
To be honest, in view of the chaotic state of France politics, I personally maintain a rather pessimistic attitude towards the prospects of France.
Although France can theoretically still form three types of government: a "centrist" cabinet, a non-partisan "technocratic government", and a far-right and far-left coalition. However, where there is power, there is a struggle, and it will be difficult for any government that is barely formed to maintain a consistent attitude in any decision in the future. For example, in the direction of Ukraine issues, Sino-French relations, NATO and the European Union.
In fact, you can think of today's France as a car that is moving at high speed, and there is a large group of people in the car, scrambling for the steering wheel, and the result can be imagined. This may be one of the main reasons why France has been "unsuccessful" for so many years.
The most important thing in my view, is that the chaos in France politics today may be creating a catastrophe.
Why?
On the one hand, the reason why the left wing of France can become the biggest winner of this election is an indispensable factor, that is, France is the birthplace of socialism. However, it should not be overlooked that France is also one of the birthplaces of capitalism. With the blessing of dual identity, it is very likely that in the context of its turbulent political situation, it will once again become an "old revolutionary area".
On the other hand, France's colonization of Africa in the past brought endless wealth to France, but the price paid is that France is now crowded with immigrants of African descent. Based on the continuous increase in the crime rate of immigrants in France in recent years, a chaotic government has a high probability that it will not be able to continue to maintain France's national security and social stability. In the future, any "black swan" event about blacks will have the probability of pushing African immigrants in France to directly come to a "turned serf singing".
To put it bluntly, Macron had no choice but to press the "political restart button", in the final analysis, because of the disunity of the France. The left and right wings have to fight each other, and the left and right wings have to fight internally. Politicians are full of love for the people, but in their hearts they are always thinking about how to fight for power and profit.
In fact, former France President François Hollande said eight years ago that without unity, France will inevitably decline, and there will even be an existential threat. Looking back now, it can be regarded as a sentence.
In short, the story of France is far from over. In its current form, the France car, unable to stabilize its rudder, is staggering towards the "catastrophe". Next, it is up to someone to find a glimmer of life in the chaos and lead France out of the storm. Let's wait and see.
