Early in the morning, the pickers came to the base of the seeds, shuttled through the pond covered with the leaves, cut the leaves with the knives in their hands, and skillfully cut the fresh and full fruits. As consumption continues to heat up during the National Day holiday, most of the local pickers work about 10 hours a day these days.
After a shipload of berries landed, it was quickly packed and loaded into trucks and transported to a local processing and sales point. After sorting, picking, cleaning, sorting, packaging and other processes, the fruit will eventually be sold online and offline to all parts of the country.
In recent years, Huoqiu has given full play to the advantages of local water resources and driven farmers to increase their incomes and become rich with green and efficient industrial development. At present, the planting area of local gourd is more than 30,000 mu, with an output value of hundreds of millions of yuan. Up to now, Tongbai County has developed a peach planting area of more than 50,000 acres and 6 varieties, with an annual output of about 120,000 tons of fresh peaches.

Henan's peaches ushered in a bumper harvest, and Chongqing's winter peaches were also full of branches. At present, the winter peaches in Wuxi County, Chongqing are ripening one after another, and after the autumn of 2024, the local temperature has been continuous, making the sweetness of the peaches in 2024 higher than in previous years.
This is a winter peach base in Fengling Town, Wuxi County, where the peach forest is lush and green, and the ripe winter peaches are adorned with branches. Fruit farmers are picking and loading baskets in the peach forest, a busy harvest scene. Fresh peaches are packaged, transported in the cold chain, and sold both domestically and overseas.
It is understood that the "ancestral hometown" of Wuxi winter peach is Qingzhou, Shandong. Later, Beitao moved south to Fengling Town, Wuxi County, Chongqing. Due to the long sunshine hours and suitable soil conditions, the average sweetness of winter peaches produced in Fengling Town has reached 18 to 20 degrees. Due to the local weather in 2024, which is dominated by sunny and hot and dry weather, the sweetness of peaches is higher than usual.
At present, there are 16,500 mu of winter peaches planted in Wuxi County, which is expected to be picked in late October, and the output is basically the same as in previous years. It is estimated that the output value of winter peaches in 2024 will reach nearly 80 million yuan.
10,000 acres of peanuts welcome a bumper harvest, and the machinery shuttles and harvests busy
During this time, 10,000 acres of peanuts in Anling Town, Wuqiao County, Cangzhou, Hebei Province ushered in the harvest. Machinery shuttles through the fields to carry out harvesting operations.
In recent years, Wuqiao County has actively explored a new path of "village community co-construction", adopted the operation model of "supply and marketing cooperatives + village party branches + farmers", and vigorously developed large-scale agricultural planting through land transfer and land trusteeship, so as to promote farmers' income and agricultural efficiency.
