According to Wang Yanyan, the docent of the center, the total area of the Grand Canal Intangible Cultural Heritage Center in Dongping County is 3,260 square meters, which is divided into "exhibition area" and "intangible cultural heritage area". Among them, the "exhibition area" is divided into five sections: the preface hall, the treasure of mankind, the Universiade Dongping, the canal intangible cultural heritage, and the handmade and courtesy of Shandong Dongping, focusing on the characteristic intangible cultural heritage of Dongyuan civilization, Grand Canal culture, Yellow River culture, etc., and depicting the rebirth of the era of Dongping. The "Intangible Cultural Heritage Learning Area" is equipped with seven functional rooms: literature learning room, quyi learning room, music learning room, handicraft learning room, handicraft learning room, dance room, and intangible cultural heritage training room, which serves as a place for intangible cultural heritage inheritors to communicate, train, study and experience with the public.
