Features of dinoflagellates:
Dinoflagellates generally like to grow in water bodies with rich organic matter and rest, and when they are rich in nutrients, they multiply in large quantities to form blooms, becoming the dominant species in the water body and quickly occupying the surface of the entire water body. The growth period spans three seasons of spring, summer and autumn, especially in June to September, the growth is the most vigorous, and the suitable temperature for bloom formation is generally 20-35 °C.
Most of the naked and dinoflagellates are flagella, due to the eutrophication of offshore waters, resulting in excessive reproduction of dinoflagellates (such as luminous algae, calculus algae in polyforman, marine protodiformes, etc.), the water will appear red, and when running in the pond below, red water is seen, and it is generally judged to be dinoflagellates.
What are the hazards of dinoflagellates:
1. With dinoflagellates, it will cause the pH value to be high, affecting the dehulling of Penaeus del. South American white shrimp, causing the soft shell to inhibit the growth of beneficial algae such as green algae and diatoms in the water body after dehulling, making the dehulling of shrimp more serious;
2. There will be a large number of algal toxins after the death of dinoflagellates, and if they are not detoxified, they will be very harmful to aquatic animals.
