Yesterday, the results of the World Vodka Masters, hosted by The Spirits Business, were released, and a total of 1 whisky won the highest prize in the whole country - the Taste Master Award and 19 won the Master Award.

The competition is in the form of blind goods, scored by experts and relevant practitioners in the field of vodka according to the percentage system, and then take the average score, and the winner of more than 90 points is rated as "Master Award", 80-89 points are rated as "Gold Award", and 70-79 points are rated as "Silver Award".

Tasting Master Award: Nemiroff Burning Pear Vodka

The winner of the taste master award was Nemiroff Burning Pear Vodka, from Ukraine, with an alcohol content of 40% ABV and an international average price of $13. The wines belong to one of the Nemiroff's Inked Collection, the other two being Blood Orange and Wild Cranberry.

Based on a 16th-century recipe, the wine is a mixture of honey, pepper and fresh pears, and is smooth and sweet, with sweet honey and pear flavors, and a slightly spicy taste.

- Standard ($15 or less)

The master of this category was received by Syabry Rye Bread Vodka.

From the Belarusian company Syabry (meaning friend in Russian), 40% ABV by alcohol, international price: $13, the wine is "delicate, clean, with a hint of toasted grain and crust" and "expressiveness of fresh bread" on the palate.

- Premium ($15-$30)

The Master award in this category was received by JJ Whitley Artisanal Russian Vodka.

From the UK-based JJ Whitley Vodka Distillery near St. Petersburg, Russia, the wine is 38% ABV by alcohol, with an international average price of $19, made from wheat, and has a smooth, clean, crisp taste with warm spicy and light fruity notes, as well as vanilla and a hint of almond.

- Super Premium ($30-$45)

A total of 4 models won the Master Award in this level:

1. "Five Vodka" (Five Vodka): From the UK's leading vodka brand, Penderyn Distillery, 43% ABV by alcohol, brewed with water from Brecon Lighthouse National Park, distilled five times and filtered with charcoal, very silky, creamy, with a hint of fruit and cooked barley, and some pepper spices and roasted nuts, and a hint of herbs.

Reyka Vodka: The first distillery in Iceland under william Grant & Sons, made from barley and wheat, distilled in one run using a Carter still, and finally filtered with basalt, 40% ABV alcohol, international average price: $27. On the palate it is creamy and oily with a hint of pepper and sweetness. There is a taste of bread toast, a faint hint of wet stone minerals, a hint of some citrus and a hint of vanilla.

Kamo Original Premium Vodka : Barrow on Soar from Loughborough, England, using wheat as raw material, bottled after 7 distillations, 9 filtrations and 3 tastings, 40% ABV alcohol, international average price: 30 US dollars. On the palate it is clean, crisp and naturally sweet. The pure body of the wine gives off herbaceous and citrus-like aromas.

- Ultra Premium ($45+)

A total of 3 masters in this category were awarded:

1. Tanzanite Vodka :A vodka produced in France by uk-based Uokka, made from French winter wheat, 40% ABV by alcohol, silky smooth, clean and crisp, with only a little sweetness.

2. One True Maverick Vodka: A true Maverick distillery from London, England, using potatoes, rye and grapes as raw materials, distilled once after three distillations, 40% alcohol ABV, is a silky, creamy, delicate taste of vodka, with obvious taste weight and viscosity, smelling with a hint of whole wheat toast, slightly sweet and delicate fruity taste.

3. Pur Vodka :From Canada, Pur Vodka has won 72 medals in international competitions, making it one of the most prized volts in the world. Since its launch in 2009, it has been voted the world's best vodka five times. Made from corn puree, diluted with ice spring water, 40% ABV by alcohol, it has a floral aroma, accompanied by a hint of cooked porridge, wet stone minerals and a hint of earthy white pepper. On the palate there is a rich buttered croissant flavor and a hint of hay. It's a very smooth, creamy vodka with an unusually long-lasting aftertaste.

A total of 2 masters in this category were awarded:

1. Sweet Grass Vodka (Sweet Grass Vodka): From Charleston, South Carolina, USA, the wine is made of potato vodka, distilled five times, 40% ABV alcohol, super smooth. The wines won three masters' prizes: Organic, Micro Distillery and Smoothest.

2. Koskenkorva Vodka Organic: From Finland, made from Finnish barley, diluted by 100% unfiltered and untreated pure spring water. The distillery has a bioenergy plant that uses the remaining barley husks after distillation as steam fuel, and the ash is used as fertilizer in nearby barley fields.

- Microdistillery

Sweet Grass Vodka won the Master Award.

- Smooth

- Vodka – Rye

Heritage 176: Belvedere from Poland, using Polish rye as a raw material, uses the traditional method of soaking rye into malt, then drying it in a kiln, then fermenting and finally distilling. 40% alcohol by volume, international average price: $30. It is a rich, complex and mellow vodka with sweet flavors of honey, walnut and whole spices.

Single Estate Rye Smogóry Forest: Also from the Snow Tree Distillery in Poland, using rye grown in a smoky manor in western Poland as raw material, 40% ABV by alcohol, international average price: $42, is a very delicious, powerful and delicious vodka, a true portrayal of the unique terroir of the region.

Originally from the UK, the wine is made from a Royal Fluke potato grown in Jersey and distilled in a small short-necked, 200-litre pot-style still, with a very clean, fresh alcohol content and displaying some pepper and a little wet stone mineral, as well as a very slight anise flavor.

The winner of the Master Award in this category was Balchug XXI, no information found.
