In order to promote the innovation and transformation of academic achievements and lead the high-quality development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry, on September 26, the "Beijing Area Widely Concerned Academic Achievements Report Conference (In the Field of Traditional Chinese Medicine)" sponsored by the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, supported by the Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, co-organized by the Beijing Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Beijing Science Center, and the Beijing Science and Technology Community Service Center, and co-organized by the Beijing Science and Technology Journals Society and Beijing Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was held at the Beijing Science Center. Shen Jie, secretary of the party leading group of the Beijing Municipal Association for Science and Technology; Han Jisheng, professor of the Institute of Neuroscience of Peking University and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Meng Fanxing, member of the party leading group and vice chairman of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology; and Zhang Yushan, secretary general of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and second-level inspector, attended the report meeting. The 2021 Beijing Widely Concerned Academic Achievements Report will be held in late September for 9 consecutive sessions, which is one of the key activities of the 24th Beijing Science and Technology Exchange Academic Month, and this report will be the first time in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. Under the support and guidance of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, in accordance with the principle of scientific and fair selection, the Beijing Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine evaluated and selected nearly 100 academic articles published in Chinese and English journals in the past five years, used multiple databases such as SCI database and CSCD database to quantitatively evaluate the cited data and other indicators of the articles, combined with peer expert review, and finally selected 20 papers with wide attention in Beijing from more than 800 papers by specialty. Focus on displaying excellent research results in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. The report will select 4 of the pioneering academic achievements that have a great role in promoting the development of the Chinese medicine industry for report exchange.
In the past 4 hours of the report meeting, the exchange of experts and speakers, the exchange of discussions and collisions of ideas between the speakers and the online audience, the on-site guests and online audiences were enthusiastic and the atmosphere was warm. Deputy Director Luo Zenggang mentioned in his concluding speech that the platform built by the Association for Science and Technology is novel in form, and the expert report is mainly based on exchanges, so that the academic achievements are fully displayed; the content of the report focuses on representative academic achievements in the four fields of acupuncture, emergency diseases, chronic diseases, and traditional Chinese medicine, showing the influence of traditional Chinese medicine in the world and abroad, which is conducive to promoting the transformation and application of academic achievements and better serving the health of the people.
