Dai Shulun (c. 732 – c. 789) was a famous poet from the kiln village southwest of Jintan City, born into a hermit family. Grandfather Dai Xiuyu and father Dai Xuanyong were both lifelong recluses. When Dai Shulun was young, he was taught by the famous scholar Xiao Yingshi, who was knowledgeable and strong, intelligent, and "never forgot his hundred sons", and was an outstanding student among Xiao Men's disciples. In the twilight of de yuanzai (756), in order to avoid the rebellion of king Yong, Dai Shulun, who was about 25 years old, fled with his relatives on a merchant ship to Poyang, Jiangxi.

In a foreign land where his life was sparse, his family was embarrassed, so he began to explore his career. In the first year of the Great Calendar (766), Dai Shulun was appreciated by Liu Yan by hubu Shangshu and served under his command. In the third year of the Gregorian calendar (769), he was recommended by Liu Yan and appointed as the empress dowager of Hunan. After that, he served as the governor of Fuzhou, the history of Fuzhou, and the history of Guangxi Rongzhou, and the history of The Assassination of Guangxi, and the official Zhirong Guanjing. Later, he was buried in the southern suburbs of Jintan Xiaonanmenwai County. In the 46th year of the Ming Dynasty (1618), Zhang Hanzhong of Jintanzhi County, in order to dredge the Cao River in the city, moved his cemetery to the southern suburbs of Gaopo, and personally inscribed the tombstone of "Shibo Night Terrace", that is, the meaning of "tomb of the great poet".
