"Lu Binghua" author Zhong Zhaozheng died and was hailed as the "mother of Taiwanese literature"

Zhongxin Network, May 17, comprehensive Taiwan media reported that Zhong Zhaozheng, who was known as the "mother of Taiwanese literature", passed away on the 16th at the age of 96. Her first novel, "Lu Binghua", became a hit.

Zhong Zhaozheng is a Taiwanese novel writer who is on a par with Ye Shitao in Taiwanese literary circles, and the two are known as "North Bell South Leaves".

Zhong Zhaozheng spared no effort to encourage and promote future generations of writers, and after the opening of the Taiwan Literature Museum, Zhong Zhaozheng donated nearly a thousand manuscripts, books, and ink treasures for his lifetime, and was an important supporter of the opening of the Museum of Literature.

In 2015, for his long-term contributions to society, he was awarded the Outstanding Alumni Medal in the Humanities and Arts category by National Taiwan University, and was revered as the "Mother of Taiwanese Literature" in Taiwan.

Zhong Zhaozheng was a primary school teacher, a lecturer in the Department of Oriental Languages at Soochow University, and the chairman of the Taiwan Hakka Public Affairs Association, and is considered to be the most powerful and creative writer in Taiwan's literary circles for his numerous awards.
