Shunting Elder Lee's day

At 7 o'clock on October 24, Li Zhe, the shunting director of Shuangyashan Station in the Jiamusi Depot, arrived at the operation roll call room on time as usual to start a new day's work.

Li Zhe, 44 years old this year, is the shunting chief of the second-shift shunting group of Shuangyashan Station, a veteran party member, and has been working on shunting for 20 years. Today, during the day, 5 trains are planned, and the shunting operation is another busy day, Li Zhe, while arranging the work with the breeching group, said to himself: "This year's Shuangyashan Station is really a year of quantity."

Shuangyashan Station is a first-class station with a large amount of goods sent in the tube of Jiamusi Train Section, and the economy attracts leading enterprises such as Jianlong Iron and Steel and Longmei of Shuangyashan Station, shouldering the work of cargo train marshalling, mine small operation disintegration, freight yard, station repair and delivery in the Shuangyashan station area, and dismantling nearly 18 trains and more than 800 trains every day. As the volume of rail cargo continues to increase, trains loaded with coal, steel, grain and other materials need to be dismantled here, and then regrouped and hung together, one after another to the far side.

"Ten cars, five cars, three cars, continuous attention, parking..." Li Zhe, the shunting commander, acted skillfully, "climbed up and jumped" on the train, and from time to time issued instructions to the locomotive driver through the intercom to direct the locomotive operation. When shunting operations, every day to climb up and down in a pile of iron lumps, walk at least 10 kilometers on foot in the slag-covered yard, the biggest test is to "hang" on the car ladder, facing the biting cold wind, shuttling back and forth in the station yard, a moment on the body will be "cold".

The heating period began in October, and the demand for coal in various power plants increased sharply. In order to ensure coal transportation, the four shifts of the shunting team fought continuously for 24 hours, and each shift of shunting operations had more than 100 hooks, and the recent sudden drop in temperature brought a severe test to the busy shunting operations. Everyone is very hard every day, but seeing the "coal dragon" drive out of Shuangyashan Station, a full sense of happiness overflows from the heart. Since October, Shuangyashan Station has sent 5,838 vehicles of coal 392823 tons. (China Daily Heilongjiang Reporter Station)
