A few days ago, the internationally renowned modification factory Hennessey Performance (Hennessy) released the 2021 Ford Raptor Hennessy modified version of the performance against the sky, and named it VelociRaptor 600. This is not the first time Hennessy has modified the Ford F-150 series pickup, since the release of the 2021 Ford F-150, they have launched the Venom 775 F-150 and Venom 800 Super Super SuperCharged F-150 for the new F-150, two performance burst products, and now Hennessy has finally chosen the ultimate modification of the Raptor, and the new car will be limited to 250 units.
Hennessy raised the power parameters of the Ford Raptor 3.5T twin-turbo engine from the original 450 hp (336 kW)/692N•m to 600 hp (447 kW)/843 N•m, matched by the Ford 10-speed automatic transmission. Modified, the beastly pickup is able to accelerate from 0 to 96km/h in 4.2 seconds and travel a quarter of a mile (about 400 meters) in just 12.9 seconds.
In order to make this behemoth weighing about 2.5 tons so fast, Hennessy has made very large upgrades to the vehicle's powertrain. They replaced the 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with an upgraded intake kit, along with a higher-flow turbocharger, as well as a new high-capacity intercooler and upgraded engine management software. In addition, in order to make the sound wave match the powerful power, Hennessy also created a set of stainless steel exhaust pipes for it, which not only provides a pleasant engine sound, but also reduces some weight.
Hennessy's power upgrade kit is priced at $19,950, and consumers can also spend an additional $17,950 on an optional advanced off-road upgrade kit that includes a redesigned front bumper (with 5 LED light clusters embedded in it), rear bumper, 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, Toyo off-road tires, front suspension suspension kit, and 3-inch suspension rise.
