In the past 10 years of road maintenance work, Mao Xing Bureau has always taken the road as the industry and the station as the home, and has devoted itself to the arduous road maintenance with a high sense of responsibility and full of enthusiasm, and interpreted the wonderful life chapter in the ordinary maintenance post.
Road maintenance work is a high-intensity field manual labor, the working environment is difficult, at any time to face a variety of unexpected situations, the flood season is more wind and rain.
The SsangYong Maintenance Team is responsible for the maintenance of the road from Chuangxia Village to Shuanglong Village in Nanyu Town, National Highway 355, which has many sand and gravel factories and dense traffic of medium and heavy trucks. Some sand and gravel transport vehicles are overloaded with transportation, "pulling large tips and not covering the canopy", often causing the phenomenon of spilling sand and spilling sand and waste, which not only leaves a safety hazard, but also increases the daily road cleaning task of maintenance personnel. Since serving as the leader of the Shuanglong maintenance team, the Mao Bureau, whether it is a cold wind or a scorching sun, has insisted on leading the maintenance personnel to face the dust every day, patrol the road surface, clear the sand and gravel, fill the pits and troughs, and pass through the culverts, eliminate the hidden dangers of the road safety in time, and ensure the safety and smoothness of the highway.
In 2015, a culvert in this section was accidentally blocked by dead pigs and domestic garbage, and the surrounding stench was continuous, and passing vehicles and pedestrians had to accelerate through, causing certain traffic hazards. The culvert space is narrow, garbage debris can only rely on manpower a shovel and a pickaxe to clean up, the Mao Bureau did not hesitate to choose the most difficult part to clean, drilled into the culvert, endured the smell of dead pigs and sewage kneeling in the culvert to clean up the garbage little by little, after several days of hard work, the culvert finally recovered clean.
In the same year, Typhoon "Cuckoo" struck, and the huge wind and rain caused a landslide in the section of the jurisdiction, the road was full of silt, and the deepest part could drown the thigh of an adult, which must be rushed in time. The Mao Bureau had in mind the work of rushing through, and had no time to take care of the sick children at home, so it led the maintenance staff to brave the wind and rain to race against the clock to grab the passage road. When the stranded vehicles began to pass slowly, the tight strings in his heart finally loosened.
His wife often complained to him: "Even the sick children are ignored for work", but Mao Bureau said: "To do a line of work, you must love a line, and it is your duty to rob and destroy Bao Chang". Li Daoxun, a member of the Communist Party of China, was born in January 1960 and is the secretary of the party branch of Hantou Village, Hongwei Township, Minhou County. In the past 37 years in Hantou Village, Li Daoxun has always worked diligently for the construction and development of the village, especially after serving as the village party secretary since 2012, he has made unremitting efforts to lead the villagers to get rid of poverty and become well-off, and won the support and love of the whole village.
Hantou Village is located in the mountainous area of Hongwei Township, the original economy is relatively backward, the village houses are old, the roads are rough, life and transportation are very inconvenient, the traditional agriculture on which to survive can only solve the basic food and clothing of the villagers, the employment of surplus labor force and the education of the next generation is a problem that the villagers have been anxious about. As a member of the cadres of the two village committees, Li Daoxun was extremely anxious in his heart, constantly thinking about how to improve the lives of the villagers and embark on the road of poverty alleviation.
In 2003, under the guidance and help of the superiors, Hantou Village decided to implement a relocation project to build a New Hantou Village in a relatively good place, so that the living conditions of the villagers could be improved. The problems of housing and transportation have been largely solved, but it is clear that the original crops alone will not lift the villagers out of poverty. In 2012, Li Daoxun served as the secretary of the party branch of Hantou Village. After taking office, he made up his mind that he must find a way to promote the industrial development of Hantou Village and increase the economic income of the villagers.
However, it is not easy for a formerly poor and backward mountain village to develop industries. On the one hand, Li Daoxun conducted in-depth investigations and studies and grasped the conditions and public opinions of the villages; on the other hand, he learned about the advanced experience of developing the rural economy in some developed areas. After investigation, Li Daoxun found that rural tourism was just emerging at that time, and many urban people went to rural tourism on holidays to feel the local customs and taste the delicacies of the farmhouse, which had become a trend.
Li Daoxun found a first-line business opportunity in the old house in the village that had been uninhabited for a long time, and found a new way out to get rich. He instructed the villagers who owned the old houses to rent out and rent them to the tourists, so that the abandoned houses were repaired and managed free of charge, and additional income was added. The development of rural tourism and the transformation of old houses in the village into homestays are a successful exploration of Li Daoxun's new rural construction in Hantou Village.
In addition to the development of rural tourism, Li Daoxun also strongly advocated the villagers to plant fruit trees. In 2019, the expert team of the Municipal Institute of Pomology investigated the soil and climate of Hantou Village, suggested and encouraged villagers to plant sweet olives and navel orange No. 52, and upgraded the original low-yield old orchard. Li Daoxun took the lead in actively participating in the remote training of the institute and the on-site guidance of orchards, learning the management techniques of high-quality fruit farmers' orchards, and passing on the learned techniques to other fruit farmers in the village to ensure that they can effectively enjoy science and technology, industrial poverty alleviation and improve income.
Li Daoxun is well aware that in order to promote the development of the village, it is far from enough to rely on his own strength, so he is keen on cultivating young reserve forces, and has absorbed many village-level reserve cadres who have economic acumen, dare to break through, and are young and promising into the party organizations, thus laying a solid foundation for enhancing the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the village organizations.

Xiyanshan Martyrs Cemetery Council is a non-governmental public welfare organization spontaneously established by several villagers in Shadi Village, Shangjie Town, Minhou County.
In 2013, Zhao Shanqing and several other villagers in Shadi Village, Shangjie Town, spontaneously built a martyrs' cemetery on the Xiyan Mountain in houxia village to protect the martyrs of the People's Liberation Army who were buried here, and established the XiyanShan Martyrs' Cemetery Council, mobilized all resources to find their families for the martyrs, and expressed their respect and gratitude to the martyrs of the People's Liberation Army with practical actions.
At present, there are ten members of the Xiyanshan Martyrs' Cemetery Council, namely: Chen Jinhua, Zhao Shanshen, Zhao Buliu, Zhao Rumu, Zhao Gengzhong, Zhao Pengqi, Zhao Honggen, Zhao Jianxiong, Zhao Jianqing, and Zhao Ling.
"The Grace of One Meal" was concerned, and a cemetery was built to comfort the martyrs
In the early days of liberation, a rehabilitation hospital of the People's Liberation Army troops was stationed in Shadi Village, where many soldiers wounded in the battles to liberate Fujian and Fuzhou were recuperated. At that time, Zhao Shanqing of Shadi Village was still a small child, often running to the hospital to play, and established a deep relationship with the plausible wounded and sick and medical staff of the Rehabilitation Hospital. Seeing that Zhao Shanqing's family was very poor and sometimes even hungry, these PLA wounded and sick and medical staff gave him the rice balls and pots they had saved to help Zhao Shanqing's whole family survive that difficult time.
Due to the limitations of medical conditions at that time, some plastered PLA soldiers who were seriously injured were buried on xiyan mountain next to the hospital after being killed in vain. Later, the rehabilitation hospital was evacuated, and these sacrificial PLA fighters were buried here forever. Decades have passed, because of the wind and sun and the unattended years of wind and sun, these already simple martyrs' tombs have been badly damaged, and the tombstones are scattered on the mountain.
In 2013, the elderly Zhao Shanqing, who was more than 70 years old, saw this situation and remembered the "grace of one meal" of that year, so he consulted with several other villagers to build a martyrs' cemetery and collect and bury the remains of these martyrs. After more than a year of running and raising, with the help of the Provincial Civil Affairs Department, the County Civil Affairs Bureau, the Shangjie Town Government and other departments, they finally built the Xiyan Mountain Martyrs Cemetery and moved the remains of the martyrs scattered on the mountain into the cemetery. Among them, 10 martyrs' tombs are engraved with information such as names and addresses, and in another joint tomb, dozens of remains of martyrs whose information cannot be found are buried. The cemetery also built reliefs of martyrs, built glazed tiles, and built display walls.
In the past ten years, we have searched for relatives and found the descendants of 7 martyrs
In order to comfort the heroic souls of the martyrs, since 2013, the members of the Xiyanshan Martyrs' Cemetery Council have mobilized all the resources around them to find the families of the martyrs. Many of the addresses recorded on the inscriptions cannot be found. To this end, the members of the board of directors went through countless historical records and restored the geographical information of that year, just to find the current place name of the martyr's homeland.
Knowing that the homeland of some martyrs is far away in Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui and other places, the members of the council also took the initiative to contact various media and pushed family search information to the whole country through the media forces such as Fujian Television, Fuzhou Daily, and Today's Toutiao. With the unremitting efforts of nearly ten years, 7 descendants of martyrs have been found, and 3 descendants of martyrs have not yet been found. The descendants of these 7 martyrs all came to the cemetery for worship as soon as they learned the news and expressed their gratitude to the members of the council.
Watch over the cemetery and let the red main melody flutter
After the construction of the cemetery, the members of the board of directors divided their work and were responsible for the daily management of the cemetery. Everyone has performed their duties, so that the cemetery has been running in an orderly manner for so many years. With the gradual rise of the cemetery's reputation, every year on Qingming And Martyrs' Day, a large number of teachers and students of primary and secondary schools, officers and soldiers of the army, and personnel of government agencies, enterprises, and institutions will come to pay their respects. In order to promote the spirit of the martyrs, the members of the Council also compiled the deeds of the heroes and martyrs into a draft, and repaired an exhibition hall for those who came to worship to visit and study.
A cemetery was built at the foot of Xiyan Mountain, and the water conditions of military and civilian fish were long. It was the vigilance of these council members that earned the peace of dozens of martyrs and nine springs.
