Driving through the rolling hills of the southern part of Longkou, the "Rural Answers" interview group came to the west bank of the Wangya Reservoir, the water source of Longkou City, where a small village of more than 200 households sits quietly, which is the destination of our trip.
This small village surrounded by mountains and rivers has a well-known name - Changlun Zhuang, the "first-class combat hero" of the Shandong Military Region, and One of the 100 heroic models who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China, was born here, and the village was also named after the hero.
On the 25th, with respect, we walked into Changlun Zhuang and saw the figure of "Changlun" everywhere. The heroic statue of the hero of the village and the mural of the hero battle scene in the village are vivid, and today Changlun Zhuang has become a well-known red tourist attraction.
Villages, named after heroes; well-off, fight in the name of heroes. Because of this, the village has an innate red gene and a distinctive heroism.
The name of the martyr will always be in the village
"The battle hero Ren Changlun, he is a man from Sun Huzhuang in Huangxian County..." In the Ren Changlun Memorial Hall, the 80-year-old Wang Baode emotionally sang "Battle Hero Ren Changlun". This song, which has been sung for decades, accompanied by the strong rural tone of the octogenarian, is still so smooth and so emotional.
Sun Huzhuang among the old people is the Changlun Zhuang where we are located. Through precious objects, the old man told the story of the village's name change. The glorious years filled with the smoke of war and the heroic feats that can be sung and wept have lasted for a long time through the smoke clouds of more than 70 years of history.
Ren Changlun was born in 1921 in a poor family in Sun Huzhuang, joined the Eighth Route Army at the age of 19, participated in more than 120 large and small battles, was wounded 9 times, hung up in 11 places, and was awarded the title of first-class combat hero of the Shandong Military Region in August 1944. In november 1944, in the Battle of Changsha Fort, Ren Changlun repelled three Japanese charges, led the soldiers to carry out white-knife warfare with the Japanese army, and after assassinating 5 Japanese in a row, unfortunately he was shot in the head and died at the age of 23. In order to commemorate the hero, Xu Shiyou, then commander of the Jiaodong Military Region, awarded Ren Changlun's 5th Company as "Ren Changlun Company", and in February 1945, the Huangxian People's Government renamed Sun Huzhuang "Changlun Zhuang".
Since then, the name of the martyr has always resided in the village, and the red gene has been integrated into the body of this small village.
In the hard work day after day, the simple Changlun Zhuang people have not forgotten the heroes. As Ren Changlun was rated as one of the 100 heroic models who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China, was included in the first batch of 300 famous anti-Japanese heroes and heroes of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the "Ren Changlun Company" appeared in the 70th anniversary military parade of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the Ren Changlun Memorial Hall, the Ren Changlun Martyrs Memorial Square, and the Red Culture Street were built one after another, and the image of the combat heroes also moved from plane to three-dimensional.
"Ren Changlun is an anti-Japanese hero and the pride of our village, the spirit of heroes must not be lost, we must let more people understand heroes and learn from heroes." Wang Zhongjin, secretary of the party branch of Changlunzhuang Village, said.
"Fighting a fierce tiger and charging at the head" is the essence of Chang Lun's spirit. This spirit has been imperceptibly incarnated in the hearts of every villager in Changlun Zhuang and continued to be passed on. In front of the Changlun Zhuang Village Committee, the names of the "Four Virtues of Good Deeds and Righteous Deeds" and the names of self-denial and helping others have become the best witnesses of Ren Changlun's spirit. "Whether it is considering the overall situation or helping neighbors, the people of Changlun Zhuang do not say a word, obey the needs, and the hero's hometown must have the spirit of a hero." Wang Zhongjin said.
The spirit of Changlun blooms with the light of the new era
Walking on the neat streets of the village, the oncoming villagers greeted them warmly, and from their smiling faces, we truly shared the richness of their lives today.
The beautiful life of Changlun zhuang is the dream for which the martyrs dedicated themselves. However, the development path of Changlunzhuang is not smooth.
In the revolutionary years, Ren Changlun threw his head and spilled his blood and gave up his small family to take care of everyone; in peacetime, the people of Changlun Zhuang sacrificed their egos and took into account the overall situation, and what was inherited was the "Changlun spirit" of dedication and heroic struggle.
Originally, the early Changlun Zhuang was not in its current location, but at the bottom of the Wangwu Reservoir, where the soil was fertile, the irrigation was convenient, and the grain was abundant, and it was a famous "granary". In 1959, the government built the Wangwu Reservoir, and Changlunzhuang needed to be relocated as a whole. It is said that the homeland is difficult to leave, and this seemingly difficult choice problem is very simple in the eyes of the people of Changlunzhuang - adhering to the heroic spirit of dedication, obeying the arrangement, and relocating immediately.
The new village site is located on the slope of the mountain, all of which are barren and thin, which need to be reclaimed, and the roads, irrigation and other supporting facilities cannot be talked about, everything must start from scratch, and the heroic fighting spirit is once again exerted in Changlunzhuang.
"I still remember very clearly that when I was a child, my parents went to the mountains to open up the wilderness, and then we were a little older, and we also went with a piece, and it was the villagers who worked day and night to get back to the relatively fertile fields of the current hundreds of acres." Wang Zhongjin recalled.
Since the reform and opening up, many villages in Longkou have begun to invigorate the economy, introduce enterprises, and the economy has developed rapidly, but Changlunzhuang has not been able to keep up. Due to its location on the edge of the Wangwu Reservoir and due to the many restrictions of environmental protection in the water source area, Changlun zhuang not only cannot introduce industrial enterprises, but even the large-scale catering industry cannot develop.
The people of Changlun Zhuang once again made the choice of "sacrificing the little self" and silently guarded the clear water and green mountains. In the eyes of the villagers, Ren Changlun's heroic sacrifice for national liberation in those years, their immediate interests for the protection of water sources were nothing at all.

Temporary difficulties are not difficult for the people of Changlun zhuang. The persistence of the Changlun zhuang people has been rewarded, and the ecological advantages of green water and green mountains and the distinctive red genes have injected a steady stream of powerful impetus into the development of the village. On the day of coming to Changlunzhuang, the Luxing Agricultural Professional Cooperative led by the Party Branch of Changlunzhuang Village ushered in a major node - the "Changlunzhuang" millet production workshop was completed, waiting for the installation and commissioning of the equipment.
"'Changlun Zhuang' millet is very famous in ten miles and eight townships because of its pure green pollution, with an annual output of 20,000 catties and can sell for 16 yuan per kilogram, which is higher than the market price but very sought-after, and it is not worried about sales at all." Wang Shi'an, a member of the village's "two committees," said, "At present, 150 villagers have joined the cooperative, the planting area of millet has reached 200 mu, and the equipment can be installed in mid-December, forming a one-stop production, processing and sales, and realizing the double income of villagers and village collectives." ”
The development of green organic agriculture, Changlun Zhuang conditions are unique. Changlunzhuang terrain is high in the west and low in the east, and the village is built on the hillside, arranged in a trapezoidal arrangement along the slope, and the irrigation water is abundant. Changlunzhuang takes advantage of natural resources to transfer part of the land to enterprises to grow grapes and obtain a certain rental income. Some villagers have changed to crops such as cereals and ginger, and their income can be doubled than before, and cash crops such as apples, cherries and strawberries have a certain scale, which is another important way for villagers to increase their income.
The road of green development is getting wider and wider, and the red brand is famous.
On the day of the reporter's interview, Changlun Zhuang happened to receive a group of special guests - Zhou Zhigao, chairman of the trade union of Bohai Ferry Group Co., Ltd., and his party, who came specially to dock the renovation and upgrading project of The Changlun Memorial Hall. "The company's 'pairing' with Changlun zhuang is to further carry forward the heroic spirit in the new era." Zhou Zhigao said.
Zhang Kun, secretary of the Party Committee of Qijia Town, Longkou City, said that Ren Changlun is a unique red cultural symbol of Changlun Zhuang, and making every effort to tap this red cultural resource and lead the construction of beautiful villages with red culture can help rural revitalization while spreading and carrying forward red culture.
Changlunzhuang has not only become the red education base of our city, Qingdao, Dongying and other cities in the province have also organized delegations to carry out red education, and in October this year alone, more than 10,000 people came to visit and study.
The surge in the flow of people brought by the red brand has brought "new traffic" to the development of Changlunzhuang, and Changlunzhuang is planning a greater development blueprint.
"In order to meet the needs of catering and accommodation for the number of people visiting and learning, we are ready to use the idle houses in the village to create characteristic homestays, and then develop rural tourism, so that people can feel the original pastoral life while receiving the influence of red culture."
