Synopsis:
Warsaw, 1975. Kapuscinsk, 43, is an outstanding journalist, experienced and idealistic, a defender of the revolution and the interests of the people. At the Polish news agency, he asked his superiors to send him to Angola, Africa. The country is mired in a bloody civil war on the eve of independence. Kapuscinski thus embarked on a suicidal journey to the heart of the war. He once again faced the cruelty of war, and for the first time a sense of powerlessness arose in his heart. Angola brought him unprecedented changes: he was a journalist in Poland, but after returning from the battlefield, he became a writer.
