The Xiuqingshui Cooperative in Daqiao Town, Dong'a County, is the most representative local Yellow River carp breeding base. At present, the cooperative has 200 members, an aquaculture area of 3,000 mu, an annual sales of 750 tons, and an annual operating profit of nearly 6 million yuan. Cheng Xingtong, manager of the cooperative, said that through pond engineering and bad water aquaculture technology, "aquaponics and vegetable symbiosis" is realized; the introduction of quality and safety traceability system, mobile phone scanning the two-dimensional code on the packaging, the source and growth process of fish are clear.
In addition to the Yellow River carp, Dong'a County is also rich in Dong'e Ejiao. Through cooperation with local ejiao enterprises, the deep-processed product "ejiao fish" came into being and became popular.
