On November 3, in the Guanguoyun Iron Shop in Hou'an Town, Wanning City, Hainan Province, a unique hou'an knife forging technology training course was underway, and Guan Guoyun, the 80-year-old inheritor of the hou'an knife forging technique, taught and passed on the training on the spot, attracting local craftsmen, apprentices and amateurs to listen and learn. In June 2010, Hou'an knife forging handicraft was officially listed as the intangible cultural heritage of Hainan Province.
