Loushan Pass is the main road between Sichuan and Qian, the terrain is dangerous, and it has been a place that both warring sides must seize since ancient times. In an instant, the infantry and machine guns of the reconnaissance company roared in unison, and the avant-garde platoon of Chiang Kai-shek's army was defeated and the empress of Cang withdrew.

Thanks to this, the Red 1st and 3rd Armies were able to concentrate their main forces and detour from the two wings to the Black Temple and Banqiao south of Loushan Pass, and seeing that our army had a roundabout posture, Jiang Jun was suddenly frightened and scattered, and retreated in a big stride. The Red Army took advantage of this momentum to retake Zunyi on the 28th.
The Battle of Loushan Pass, coupled with the ensuing Battle of Zunyi, wiped out a total of 8 regiments of chiang kai-shek's 2nd division and was the first major victory won by the Red Army since the Long March.
