Wang Jian said that without electrification, there would be no city today. By 2050, 70 to 80 percent of the world's population will live in cities. Cities house 54 percent of the world's population, but they also consume 70 percent of the world's energy. Cities should be viewed as a subject. Electrification accelerates the use of resources by cities. The carbon emissions of the top 100 cities account for about 20% of global carbon emissions.
